Story
Henry is a laid-back kind of guy. He does love to play, cuddle and chew his giant bones. He will require lots of room to run, especially with a friend that will play with him. Suggest a well secured yard and a strong arm to walk him. He does not know he is big. Below is a link to Henry's DNA results. The top 2 are German Shephard (White) and American Pit Bull. the other 11 genetic breeds make for an interesting mix, but also Henry's unique view of the world! https://www.wisdompanel.com/app/s/46pc5mr

Jackson is a sweet, loyal, 6 year old German Shepherd. He will become highly attached to his primary caregiver and become your shadow. He is used to being indoors where he can be close to his person, but lives walks and playing ball outside. His ideal new home would be a single person or couple that has time to spend with him.

Story
Waylon is a special boy looking for a patient and experienced adopter with another playful, confident dog in the home. He thrives with a canine companion to help him build confidence and navigate the world at his own pace. Found in a park with his supposed littermates and mother, Waylon is extremely fearful and skittish around new people. Future adopters should expect that he will take time to warm up and may not allow petting for a while. However, with patience and the support of a resident dog, he will slowly start to come out of his shell. Once comfortable, his playful, puppy-like personality shines through! He loves rough-and-tumble play but doesn't always recognize when other dogs need a break. Waylon is a high-energy pup who enjoys walks, outdoor play, and interactive activities. He’s still learning proper chewing habits and will need supervision with toys, socks, and rugs. He has been doing well with baths, brushing, and nail trims. Due to his skittish nature, he cannot be trusted off-leash unless in a secure, fenced area. Waylon currently knows “sit,” “down,” and “load up” (into the car) and is working on “wait” and “ok.” With time, patience, and the right home, Waylon will be a rewarding companion! Watch a video of him here: https://youtube.com/shorts/3DVfUG0StLw House trained: Knows what to do once outside but doesn’t know how to signal the needs to go out, as long as he is taken out every couple hours he doesn’t have accidentsLeash trained: Yes, with people he knows. With strangers he tries to escape. Does best with a martingale collar.Kennel trained: Yes, he loves his kennel and will take naps in it on his ownRides well in a car: Yes - he rides in a kennel in the car and even jumps into and out of the car on his own nowGood with dogs: Yes - a confident, playful dog in the home is an absolute must.Good with cats: He doesn't harm them, but he is rambunctious and wants to play Good with children: Would not do well with children due to fearful nature Apartment qualified: Yes, for the right person. He occassionally barks and howls if he gets spooked Health concerns/special needs: Adopter might choose do anxiety meds We believe Waylon is a German Shepherd and was born around 5-1-2024. Story
Meet Mavrick! Shepherds are great watchers of their flock. It could be a family of their very own, a home or anything they decide is their responsibility to watch over. They are very smart. That makes them great fun to train. Working their mind and body is the key to bonding with this breed. I am crate trained. People are my passion. Chain link fences are no challenge for me. Building a deep personal relationship is much more likely to keep me home. Come and meet this charming fellow. You won’t be disappointed!*** All HPC adoptions include microchipping!
