Hi, I’m Kiko! I’m about 2 years old and 50lbs. My foster mom says my giant smile is infectious, putting a smile on everyone I meet. Meet Mack! Mack can be a little shy when meeting new people but once he opens up he is this biggest sweetheart! He is super playful and loves going on walks, he is very strong on a leash so he would need to go to a home that could handle that. Mack gets nervous around new dogs but eventually warms up to them and enjoys playing.Mack can be seen at our main ranch or email dogswmr@gmail.com for more information.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. How to Adopt Sadie is a 10 yr old female shepherd/terrier mix who weighs 52lbs. She is strong-willed and does best with male dogs. She will do best with a dog companion in her new home. She is very athletic and enjoys attention from people. Because she is athletic, she needs daily walks and a very secure yard. She can jump a 6ft fence, so she will need a minimum fence height of 6-7ft preferably a no-climb fence or a concrete wall/fence. She is a really smart girl and will respond well to training, as long as she’s given time. Sadie will make an amazing companion for any family and will probably do well with children.  For more information on Sadie, please complete the online adoption application and call Shirley at 575-491-9577.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 14, 2024, 9:25 am

Good with dogs, Needs special attention, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. How to Adopt Kai came to us with four other dogs. He came from a property where him and 35+ other dogs lived outside. Kai is about 3-4 years old, based on behavior. They all had absolutely no socialization with people. Although the foster home is working with him, he is unsocialized and will need lots of patience and love in any new home. Kai recently lost his bonded pair – Luna.  He is now learning how to be part of a larger pack. He is currently in a foster home where he is getting some training and rehabilitation.  He is still leery of “the humans” but will allow pets and offerings of treats.  He is learning how to use his voice and has started singing with the other huskies in the house.  He is gentle and kind and needs a ton of love and patience.  But he is so worth the effort.   If you are interested in a fostering or adopting this handsome boy, please fill out our adoption application. You can get to the Adoption Application by clicking 'How to Adopt' and then click 'Complete the adoption application' If you would like to learn more about Kai, you can contact Shirley at (575)491-9577  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 14, 2024, 9:25 am

Story
Squash is estimated to be 6 months to a year old. She was abandoned outside a wolf sanctuary, and when staff went to catch her, she was extremely nervous. However, she has opened up exponentially to her caretaker and is typically excited to meet new people. She has a lot of energy, so a yard is recommended. Squash enjoys walks and recently learned how to wear a harness! One of her favorite pastimes is playing with her foster sibling. Squash would do well in a home as an only pet, as she is an attention hog, or with assertive dog(s) who can correct her puppy behaviors. She can sit, touch, shake, and is working on stay. Squash is incredibly intelligent and has so much love and joy to offer to her new home. Please note that Squash is a courtesy listing and does not belong to MMSDR. Please contact Rachel at rachel.wawrzynski@wildspiritwolfsanctuary.org (724)-831-3029
