Story
Meet Toby; the energetic loving puppy needing a forever home! Toby came to us today after his owner said if he hadn’t found a place for him by evening he was going to shoot the dog. We couldn’t let that happy to such a happy young boy. He previously was living with an unhoused gentleman so there is doubt about any veterinarian care previously, he is intact. He has been with our two dogs and done amazing, he loves to play with our large and smaller dog but will also entertain himself with a toy. He is interested in our two young children but is gentle around them; we still keep him separated most times unless he’s on a leash near them. He knows come and sit very well and loves to snuggle in your lap; he is still a puppy though so some nibbling that we try to correct. He has had a few accidents in the house but will also go to the door if he needs to go out. He would be best for an experienced adopter who has time and energy to fine tune this lovable boy unfortunately we don’t.

Story
We were given diamond. Was scared of men, nerf guns and rough housing. She is not longer scared of those things but does have seperation aniexty. She has to be around her family or in a kennel if family is away. She doesnt like people she does not know, especially men. If we have guest she has to be placed in her kennel. That is why we want to rehome her. We have 4 kids that like inviting friends over. We have to not allow it or keep her in a kennel while they are over. We think she needs a home that can give her attention and train her to understand that not every human is not nice. We hate to kennel her but guest are scared of her. We do not know how to train her. During the summer months we have kids in and out with our pool. We dont want to isolate our kids but also dont want to isolate her. Shes never hurt anyone but does nasty growl and hair sticks up if its not her family. SHe does well with the groomer and vet but they arent in her home. She doesn't like stranger dogs in her home

Story
Willa is a purebred AKC German Shepherd. Shes a little over three years old. She has her papers but was never registered. She is not fixed but has never had a litter of puppies. Great with my older kids and does well with infant. Very high energy. High prey drive. Loves chasing bumblebees and tennis balls. Pulls on walks. Gentle leader harness seems to help some. She is not good with the other female dog in the household and is reactive to other dogs in general. She needs an experienced handler and more training. She will require a lot of exercise.

Story
🐾 Meet Camo – Your New Best Friend! 🤎💚💛 Camo’s future was uncertain at a rural shelter, where space was running out. Fortunately, we were able to step in just in time to give him a second chance at the life he deserves! Sadly, thousands of dogs and puppies in North Carolina don’t get that same opportunity—our state has one of the highest euthanasia rates in the country due to overcrowded shelters and lack of adopters. But together, we can change that! Born on 10/24/24, Camo is a handsome pup with a unique camouflage-like coat and an even more amazing personality! This friendly, well-mannered boy is the total package: ❤️ Loves kids, dogs & cats 🐕 Walks great on a leash 🎾 Fetch is his favorite game 🏡 Working on crate & house training Camo is ready to find a loving home where he can be your adventure buddy by day and cuddle companion by night. Could he be the perfect fit for your family? 📍 Adoption Fee & Details: Juliet’s House puppy adoption fee of $400 includes the first two vaccines, dewormer, rabies vaccination, microchip, and spay/neuter. Your adoption fee also helps provide care for other puppies and kittens in need, covering essential medical treatments, foster supplies, and efforts to prevent future unwanted litters.

Story
Meet Matthias. He's a German Shepherd mix who weighs about about 92 pounds. His vet estimated year of birth is 2019. He is named after Matthias Jabs, the lead guitarist for the German band the Scorpions. And just like his namesake our Matthias is sure to be a rock star! Matthias is a great dog! He needs a 6ft fence. Good with most other dogs but likes to play and can be overwhelming for all but the highest energy dogs. He would be fine as an only dog with a very active family. He is good on a leash. His ideal family would have dog experience and be willing to work with him on exercise and daily training.   ~Adoption donation $250. All vetting is up to date. Microchipped and neutered. Also on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Visit www.ruffloverescue.com/adoption to make this pup a member of your family. November 5, 2024, 5:56 pm

Story
T Bone is a Super Smart, Spunky guy who is looking for his new family or person. Sadly, his human Dad passed away recently and his brother has been adopted. T-bone is now by himself in an outdoor pen being cared for by friends until he is discovered by his new family. Unfortunately the friends that are caring for him have four Dogs of their own and feel that he deserves a home of his own. T-bone is a healthy, young at heart 9 yr. old neutered German Shepherd. He is a Happy Guy who loves to go for walks and walks well on leash. If you are looking for a walking or hiking buddy or a canine friend to share your farm or land, T Bone may be your guy! He'd love a home where he can be your one and only. A fenced in yard or property where he can run and explore would be on the top of his bucket list. We are asking a rehoming fee to help insure he is adopted into a great home. ~Adoption donation $300. All vetting is up to date. Microchipped and neutered. Also on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Visit www.ruffloverescue.com/adoption and fill out an application to make this pup a member of your family February 3, 2025, 1:11 pm
