Story
Meet Ginger! This sweet girl is a bit of a mixed bag when it comes to doggie playtime-one minute, she's running over to say "hello" and the next, she's giving her playmate a quick "back off!" But don't worry, she's just figuring things out. Ginger loves being chased for a bit, but then might suddenly switch gears and bark at her new friend, like she's saying, "Wait, let's slow down here!" She's still learning the ropes of doggy socializing, but her intentions are pure-she just needs a little extra help finding her playtime groove. If you're patient and ready to help Ginger build confidence, she's sure to be a loyal and fun-loving companion! If you're interested in learning more about her, please reach out to our volunteer matchmakers at wcac.matchmaker@gmail.com with the subject line "Ginger 257857".She is up to date on vaccinations, flea/tick, and heartworm prevention, is microchipped, and will be spayed prior to going home. If you have dogs or cats, we recommend slow introductions over time. If you have children in your home, we recommend supervision between animals and children at all times. Story
Moose is a 3-year-old German Shepherd mix with a gentle and affectionate temperament. He is initially shy but quickly warms up to people and is extremely friendly. While he can be a bit anxious at times, he is well-adjusted and thrives in a calm, loving environment. Moose is both house and crate trained and responds well to training with an electric collar, demonstrating excellent recall. I often walk him off-leash, as he has great control, though he is also comfortable on a leash. Moose enjoys the company of cats but tends to chase them, though he is not aggressive and means no harm. He loves to play with other dogs and has participated in daycare, although he may occasionally display humping behavior. I am sadly needing to rehome Moose due to my housing circumstances. He is accustomed to having ample space to run and requires regular exercise. Included with Moose are his toys, food and water bowls, crate, leash, harness, collar, and some bathing supplies.

Story
Hello! My name is Rocky, I am a 5-year-old intact Male German Shepherd and I am looking for a new home! I was taken in by my previous owners as an only dog and I much liked that and with a new friend in the house I am looking for more suitable options. I love being outside, I love to protect my yard or house, but much prefer a fenced yard over anything. I like to nap and can be super demanding of attention, but I promise I will always be ready for bed. I love tennis balls, tug of war ropes, and squeaky toys! I know a few basic commands, I am crate trained, house trained, as well as E collar and leash compliant. It is very hard for everyone, especially with a baby on the way, please be understanding and I would love to chat for more information! Be aware I will ask for a rehoming fee and proof of compatible living arrangements, Ex: yard space, prior experience with the breed or circumstances can all be disclosed and discussed further ifinterested.

Story
Turtle is such a good boy, he’s loving and sweet. He’s so gentle despite his size. He loves meeting new people and going places. He’s completely potty trained and will listen to what you say. Super food motivated. Does not like to be confined but does well on his own if left loose in the home. He is not crate trained and gets anxiety if confined. He is great with cats, has limited experience with children but hasn’t had any problems so far. He doesn’t know he’s big so he does jump on people. He will follow you around and is just a great companion. Does get car sick so may need something to contain any mess while being transported. He is an indoor dog, does not like to spend much time outdoors alone, he’s fine if you’re with him though. He loved to play, anything that squeaks and rope toys. He’s also perfectly content just hanging out and sleeping all day. He’s happy to play or happy to nap.

Story
Daisy is super sweet and loves to cuddle. She's still young, we think around 4 years old now. She was a rescue, so it's not entirely sure. Lots of energy for playtimes and very smart. She knows her recall and will work for treats. Fully up to date at the vet. Her main issue is other dogs. We've worked on it, but she still gets anxiety when another dog comes around. I just started grad school while I'm working full time, so I'm not able to give her the proper devotion anymore. It's not fair to her.
