Story
What a breath of fresh GSD air! Holey Moley Cutie is about all we can say to this one! Brent is a totally edible-y cute German Shepherd mix younger adult who weighs about 40 lbs now likely with a bit more to grow. With stunning coloring and an active, fun and smart self, Brent is sure to win over any GSD lover and let's be honest, really any dog lover period. He is young and active and would do best in a home that allows for regular exercise. We suspect he is smart as a whip too, making him a great addition to family who is interested in a brainiac who can learn most anything. Adventures, snack and love, Brent is your go to guy. He does wonderfully with the other dogs at the farm and could easily join any pack! B is for beauteous and this looker sure is that. **Volunteer Dog Walker feedback: "Socially - good with other dogs and people. Activity level - excited but manageable, still a puppy"! "He is smart and curious, and wanted to walk quickly to catch up with the pack lead, it was funny! He followed the directions well. Friendly with other dogs in the pack, gave them kisses and accepted their socialization well!

Story
*** AVAILABLE ON-SITE STARTING THURSDAY 8/22 *** Berlin can be a little reserved and shy when she first meets people and other dogs but warms up very quickly. Once she's acclimated, she likes attention from both humans and other dogs. She loves to play outside with her sister. She definitely loves attention more than she does toys. But when it comes to food, she would much prefer that!

Story
(DOB 08/01/2023) Berkley is growing up into a very handsome young adult. He is definitely filling out into a beautiful GSD-mix. His coat is shiny and silky soft. He has a beautiful smile and perky ears. Berkely is ready to love and be loved!  This youngester is looking for an active family with daily walks and play time. Berkeley is a sweet boy, and is just looking for the right family to take him home and love him fur-ever!! He is loveable and a little on the submissive side. He shares his toys nicely and loves to play. He would love a fenced yard to run around and romp in but it is not a requirment. He loves to play catch with a tennis ball and strut around a bit with it in his mouth. Berkley would love daily walks day and getting out to see and do new things, meet new people, and have new experiences.   He loves being with his people so make sure have you plenty of time to spend with him daily! A home with older children would be best due to his size. His foster 2-legged brother is awesome and has already taught Berkley basic commands. Berkley is highly motivated by food or treats which is awesome! We don't think a home with cats is a perfect fit; however, he is good with chickens at his foster family's house. He is also house and crate trained. As part of Berkley’s $325 adoption fee, he is neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and current on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives.  If you have questions about this sweet little boy,you can email  Dogteam@pawsforlifenc.org.  If you wish to adopt Berkely, you can fill in an online application for him under the Adopt a Pet Tab on our website:  www.pawsforlifenc.org. ##1887422##

Breed & Age: German Shepherd Mix, 1 year old Personality: Sweet, Silly & Goofy Likes & Dislikes: Likes - Playing, chew toys, cuddling. Hasn’t found anything to dislike yet!   Say “what’s up” to Willie Jack! This adorable pup is a bundle of joy who’s as sweet as he is silly! Willie Jack is always ready for some fun, whether it’s chasing toys, running around the yard, or curling up for a cozy nap once all the fun is done. Willie Jack is a lovable pup who knows his basic commands, is house and crate-trained, and is the perfect buddy to take on car rides for exciting adventures. He’s been living in a foster home with other dogs and is a big fan of his doggy buddies. He’d do well in a home with other dogs but could also be a solo co-pilot for all of your adventures. Though he’s still perfecting his leash skills, his eagerness to please makes him a quick learner, and he is VERY food-motivated (which makes training a breeze). Willie Jack is on the lookout for a family who’s ready to keep up with his playful spirit, let him be a part of all the fun and outings, spend lots of time with him, and help him continue his training so he can be the best boy. If you’re ready for a loyal, fun-loving furry friend who’ll make every day an adventure, Willie Jack is waiting to be your new best buddy!  ##1832974##
