Diamond is an eight year old Shepherd mix who was adopted from Pet Friends in 2017, but returned to us recently when her family was no longer able to take care of her. While she may considered a "senior dog based on her age, she looks and acts much younger. She enjoys playing fetch and going for walks but those walks don't need to be for miles and miles and the fetch sessions don't need to be hours long. After some exercise, Diamond will be happy to sit with you and get a good scratching. When she was returned, we weren't told much about her other than she is dog reactive, so would need to be in a house with no other dogs. Now that our volunteers have spent some time with Diamond, we have learned that she knows some basic commands, walks ok on a leash but will pull hard, especially at the beginning of the walk, and really enjoys being with people. Diamond is a perfect name for her, because she is a gem and is going to make someone a wonderful companion, particularly if they want a dog that has grown out of its puppy stage, yet still is full of life.

We are looking for someone who has more time for our big boy than we've found ourselves with. It's hard for us to consider letting him go, so we want to make sure if he does leave our family, you will be able to offer him a yard or activity to keep him busy and he does wonderful with other dogs - especially females, though he has been fine with other males, just displays typical doggy peeing on top of pee type behaviors.

Hello, I am looking to rehome my German shepherd. She a young playful, energetic dog that loves to be the center of attention. She is very intelligent, loyal and a quick learner. Unfortunately she was bought against my wishes (knowing the timing wasn’t right) but my ex boyfriend was adamant and didn’t care. The relationship turned sour and abusive so I had to leave without her. She showed clear signs of neglect so I decided to get her board and trained which was successful. I am currently pregnant which is why this is not being rushed. I am asking for NO fee. I am willing to pay for additional PRIVATE training sessions, along with an ample supply of dog food along with making sure she is updated with her shots and anything else. I am willing to pay any and everything as long as she is in a loving home.
