APPLICATION LINK: https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application-pet-central-satx/ We must have an application to move forward. BUTTERCUP is a VERY sweet girl. She is most likely German Shepherd but could easily be a mix which we can’t identify. DOB 9/24/24 she’s a 25# lumbering puppy running and playing with creative grace. She’s VERY happy and loves everyone. She doesn’t think twice about walking between you legs to get your attention. Buttercup is very affectionate and loves to go places. We are working on house training. She doesn’t think anything about my cats. She is probably going to get to be about 65-75#. This is a wonderful family dog. This dog is CURRENTLY IN TEXAS and available for pre-adoption. Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention. You can ask us about how pre-adoption works and our "trial period." If you have any questions or would like an e-mail from us as to how all of this works, text me (Terry); identify the dog's name and give me your email address... 210-394-6060. You can also go to our Facebook page... https://www.facebook.com/Pet-Central-SATX-866684826744181/ and LIKE us to help us out. After we review your application, we will contact you, and you'll have the opportunity to find out more from their foster family or the rescue. If you experience any issues filling out the application you can contact us directly at shaynerescue@gmail.com. This is ONLY if you have problems applying. If you have not applied, you will not receive a response so please only email if you have any issues applying. Adoption Fees The adoption fee includes transportation to WA/OR. All pups and dogs are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, have a negative heart worm test for all dogs over 6 months at time of transport, have a health certificate, and have all age-appropriate vaccinations. Some dogs/pups have additional medical, including but not limited to FHO, ACL, hernias, dental, and other vetting. All medical records will be provided to the adopter at the time they pick up their dog. HOW ABOUT FOSTERING! If you are not in the position to afford a puppy/dog but still want to be an important factor in dog rescue, we recommend fostering. Fostering ensures you incur no vet bills and no boarding fees while saving a life and enjoying the love of a canine companion. We are always in need of good fosters. You can sign up to foster at this link: https://shaynesrescue.com/foster-application/ This is a post on behalf of Pet Central SATX Rescue, headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. We have hundreds of puppies/dogs available so there really is no need to apply anywhere else. Also, one application is good even if you are interested in several different dogs...one application no matter which one you choose. Thank you for choosing to adopt a rescue pup/dog. We firmly believe there is NO breed other than "rescue" for all species. Thank you for being part of the village it takes to save these precious lives.

Story
Talk about on of the smartest pups we've had the privilege to have in our care! This is Kimchi, a sweet loyal companion who is more than happy to learn any trick you'd like to teach her. Kimchi is agile and would love to learn an agility course, or jump among the rocks and fallen trees on a hike! Kimchi would do best in an active home who could provide her with enough stimulation to keep that brain of hers busy! When it gets bored, she can get a little destructive so crate training has been incorporated into our care for her and she does amazing! Kimchi also loves her doggie furrends and would be a pawsome addition to your pack! Don't miss out on this amazing dog! What her foster has to share: Kimchi loves playing. She likes all toys although a toy bone is her favorite. She loves to play. She will frequently be found just throwing a toy for herself or asking to play tug. Kimchi is up for an adventure. She's working on car etiquette and doesn't like a long trip bc it doesn't sit well with her tummy. But she loves the destination. Kimchi is awesome at hiking and loves to run the beach. She currently is not much of a swimmer but she has tried it. She plays well with other dogs. Her foster home has 3 other dogs of all sizes and she gets on well with all of them. She likes to play with them and cuddle with them. She is an active girl but can do a lazy Sunday. She is very loyal to her foster mom and will make an amazing companion animal for someone. She likes the companionship of dogs and humans. She is good with kids and happy to play with them and get pet by them. When she is feeling cuddly she likes to climb into your lap and ask for pets. Kimchi doesn't understand what her reflection is an is funny as she tries to figure it out. She is a great dog. She has great recall. Will use a leash as well. She's working on her potty training. She is good at it but is having an accident every little bit. She is good at "sit and "come. She's working on "lay down, "place, "stay, and "leave it and doing well with those commands. Kimchi really is an incredible dog and would make a great addition to any kind of family. She's delightful, sweet, funny, and fun.

Story
Hi Addison is a Female German shepard with so much love to give. Unfortunately we have tried for over a year but she does not get along with our other male shepherd and it is heartbreaking for us to make this choice but she would be better in a single dog home. She is such a sweatheart. She does well with children or the few ones we have had around, she laid down with them. She is not a chewer and she doesnt like raised voices. We did take her to a trainer and she did well. She barks and twitls in a cirlce when she is happy and when she is anxious. In the summer time she loves to chase flies. She is gentle with treats and food and is in love with car rides, she is a passanger princess. She is dog reactive on the leash and we have tried to work with her on this but it will definitely need continued work on. She was originally found as a stray so having her on a leash was new to her. We would love to have her go to a family that will give her love and affection and all the attention she
