Story
Hi, I'm Olivia, a sweet Shepherd girl with a heart full of love and a penchant for chatting. Whether I'm greeting new friends or just sharing my thoughts with my family, I've always got something to say. I love to play and have fun, but I get a bit anxious sometimes, especially when things change or I hear loud noises. Because of my anxiety, I would do best in a home with children over 16. I just need reassuring cuddles or a familiar voice that helps me calm down. My favorite moments are spent with my loved ones, playing, feeling secure and content, and just being my affectionate self.I would do best in a home with:-Children over 16 years old-A confident dog friend Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: Tan Weight: 55.2 Age: 0yrs 10mths 0wks

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.PLEASE go to our website www.collarofhope.org to read all information about our puppies, rescue, adoption process and to submit our adoption application.  All of our information does not transfer to the adoption sites. Before completing our adoption application, please consider the following: Is someone home to raise and train a puppy? Do you have a securely fenced yard for the puppy? Can you give a puppy a 15ish year commitment?   DAVINA is a sweet girl who has a shephard mix momma and mystery dad.   She is a nice girl who is learning how to live in a house.  She would make someone a nice walking/hiking companion!  She still needs training and a family who knows what a lifelong  commitment  is.  No apartments or other shared wall homes. Our dogs are  neutered, micro-chipped, vaccinated, de-wormed and parasite treated/prevented throughout their time with CoH .    Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 18, 2024, 9:00 pm

Story
My adoption fee is free! License fees apply for residents of Seattle. (All dogs who are with us for longer than 1 month have waived adoption fees.)What a great smile Gigi has! She's come so far from the anxious pup she was on arrival. She is such a sweetheart - and she loves to play. Fetch is her favorite (ball is life!) and she's super polite in dropping the ball for another throw. Gigi also loves playing find-it.....especially finding treats, because treats are also her favorite. This tolerant, lovely girl is so ready to get a start on her new life with you!Pets are complex beings and prior to adoption, interested adopters will be counseled by a staff member to discuss the specific needs for each animal. This will include reviewing all known medical and behavior information.** Please note that some animals will receive numerous inquiries, sometimes more than we can process. Story
Hi, I am Lassie, As you can see I am a beautiful German Shepherd dog. I am smart and loyal to my family. I am still a bit shy when meeting new people and other dogs. I would really benefit from having a confident dog at home to learn from and bring out the best in me. I live with other dogs now and we get along great, but I need a good introduction to them to help my confidence. I don’t have much experience with cats or kids, but they might be fun to play with.I spend most of my time outside, but I know some basic commands and I go outside to do my potty. I am pretty calm when walking on a leash, but there is nothing better than going for a good run with the other dogs. I am affectionate and love to give kisses, I do that when I get a bone to chew on. They are my favorite, but I like ropes, balls, and sticks too.If you are a family looking to add another dog to your life fill in the application and we can meet on a Zoom call.Lots of Love to share.Lassie To get more information go to https://hope4lapawz.org/adopt and click on the dog's photo. Story
Vince is a wonderful, happy and sometimes a lazy old man. He loves walks and the water. He is easy-going and sweet, really silly and always sports a bow tie around town. He loves people but little kids make him anxious. Older kids are fine. He is 10 Well-trained A real big sweetie Loves a snuggle Easy going Can be at home alone for many hours Likes long walks on the beach Preferably the only dog in the home (he likes certain dogs but can be picky) He can be socialized but it just takes time with other pups, he does have two dog friends Loves people Comes with a bow tie He can be a little reactive to certain dogs but is very obedient when collar is tugged and asked to sit. If he is in a new environment or anxious or needs to pee bad, he may try to get into the trash if it is out. But that is rare and he will not do anything else or harm the house. If trash is out of the room he will not do anything.

Story
This is Saint. He is from a breeder of pure bred sheperds. (AKC papers will be included) He’s definitely an “inside dog” He lives in a city right now so sleeps in our home. He’s very loved, somewhat spoiled. He loves belly rubs:) He’s not great with other dogs but we are working on this. His owners are in a circumstance such that they just cannot keep him. Willing to send him anywhere for the right owner. He does need an experienced handler of German shepherds as he is a somewhat reactive dog. He’s very protective, loyal. He needs space to run, and perhaps even a dog-companion. He’s only two. He wants to play with other dogs but needs to still learn how. He did not get much opportunity to do this so far, but as stated earlier, we are really working on this with a professional trainer.
