MEET KATIE & GRACE, two beautiful, sweet & loving black German Shepherds! Both of these lovely girls with stunning black coats were rescued from a crowded California shelter, and they are very bonded. Grace & Katie are good with other dogs and lovely with people. Grace, the mama dog, is about 5-6 years old, and Katie is a 2-year-old girl now and growing up! Both girls have also done fairly well around cats but would need to be monitored. Katie weighs about 60-65 lbs, and Grace weighs about 71-75 lbs. They've waited a long time for a home because we are trying to place them together, so if you can open your home to two dogs, please email for an application. They also need a foster! We also offer discounted adoption fees for pairs.

Story
Ghost is ready to "lift your spirits" with his adorable antics! Ghost is a big, lovable goofball who doesn’t quite realize how large he is—but that just adds to his charm! With his playful personality, kind heart, and unshakable loyalty, he’s the perfect adventure buddy and cuddle companion all in one. Why You’ll Love Ghost: Obedient and eager to please Playful yet incredibly loving A little uncoordinated at times, making him extra endearing Housebroken and well-mannered indoors Rides well in the car and walks nicely on a leash The Perfect Home for Ghost:Ghost gets along well with other dogs but would thrive with a fellow big dog who can match his energy. He’d do best with an active, loving adopter who wants a true best friend for life—someone who will enjoy playtime, outdoor adventures, and plenty of goofy moments together. Ghost is not a fan of feline friends so he would do best in a home without kitties! Health & Care: Neutered and up to date on all vaccinations House-ready and fine in a walk-in kennel when needed If you’re looking for a big-hearted, fun-loving dog who will bring endless joy and laughter into your life, Ghost is your guy. He’s ready to be your loyal companion—could that be you? To add Ghost to your family, simply send us an email at springbranchrescue@gmail.com for adoption and fee information. He is wagging his tail and wiggling his butt at just the thought of finding his forever home and his story is just beginning! His next chapter could be with you! Our adoption fee includes transport, all age required shots, microchip, & a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian. We look forward to receiving your application! We will review it shortly and give you a call to set up a phone interview.  We are thrilled to offer transport services every 3 weeks from Houston to the Pacific Northwest, the Midwest, and the East Coast, ensuring that these incredible pets can find their way to you no matter where you are. This makes the adoption process smooth and convenient, allowing you to focus on welcoming your new family member with open arms. Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future away from a city that has an animal crisis. We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wandering our streets. So often are these animals dumped, abandoned, or born on the streets and never find a home to call their own. We are giving them the chance that every animal deserves. We know that since you are looking to add a furry family member to your home here, you will provide the love, care, and attention they need to thrive. Thank you for considering adopting and not shopping. ##2218341##

Story
Hi, I am Lassie, As you can see I am a beautiful German Shepherd dog. I am smart and loyal to my family. I am still a bit shy when meeting new people and other dogs. I would really benefit from having a confident dog at home to learn from and bring out the best in me. I live with other dogs now and we get along great, but I need a good introduction to them to help my confidence. I don’t have much experience with cats or kids, but they might be fun to play with.I spend most of my time outside, but I know some basic commands and I go outside to do my potty. I am pretty calm when walking on a leash, but there is nothing better than going for a good run with the other dogs. I am affectionate and love to give kisses, I do that when I get a bone to chew on. They are my favorite, but I like ropes, balls, and sticks too.If you are a family looking to add another dog to your life fill in the application and we can meet on a Zoom call.Lots of Love to share.Lassie To get more information go to https://hope4lapawz.org/adopt and click on the dog's photo. Story
What a beautiful boy! Little Foot came to us from Yakima with his other Land Before Time themed siblings. Little Foot walks well on a leash, is being crate and potty trained. This boy really wants to please his humans and LOVES affection. He is an A+ snuggler. Little Foot is being fostered with two other dogs and just loves to play with them. He has also been fostered with cats, but he can be a little overly playful for some cats. Little Foot can get a little overexcited on leash, but he's doing better each day, Given his currently size and puppyish play style he might be best suited for a home with older children. He travels well in the car and would love to go on all kinds of adventures. Send us an email to rhas.adoptions@gmail.com if you'd like to meet him. And please be patient. We have one adoption coordinator doing their best to coordinate adoptions for many pups. ================================================= ***WE DO NOT RESPOND TO ADOPT A PET INQUIRIES OR PHONE CALLS, ONLY EMAILS.*** If you have any additional questions, or would like to adopt Little Foot, send us an email at rhas.adoptions@gmail.com and we will send you an adopter survey. Please note that we are a foster to adopt only rescue. As a foster, you get to "test drive" your chosen dog to make sure it's a good fit prior to adoption. We want you and the dog to have the best fit possible! Resilient Hearts is a 501(c)3 nonprofit animal rescue in Seattle, WA. 100% of adoption fees go towards helping us save more high-risk animals, and unite them with their forever families in the PNW! Story
Toby is a 5-6 year old, 90-100lb Shepherd mix who is looking for his perfect forever home. Toby was abused in his past and due to this will need a very specific family. He is very sweet and loyal with his people once he is bonded. Toby is looking for a home that has a fully fenced yard out of the city. Somewhere rural and quiet would be perfect for him! He prefers women to men and can take some time to trust men. His ideal home would be female only, but could do ok with a female/male couple if the man was patient and could build trust with him. Toby needs a home without kids and other animals. No other dogs or cats. Toby can walk fine on leash around other dogs but needs to be the only dog in the home. Toby loves to run and play and will love to spend time with his people in his backyard soaking up the sun and running around. Toby is neutered, UTD on shots and microchipped. His adoption fee is $200.

Story
HI -I'M NOMI! I'm a 5-year-old lovely Dutch Shepherd-Pit mix in need of a foster or forever home. My name means "beautiful" and "delightful" and it is so fitting, because I have a gorgeous brindle coat and a sweet face. I was rescued from a California shelter, and now have been waiting patiently for someone to notice me! I am gentle with people, and am friendly with most dogs, though I can get jealous at times. I would probably thrive as an only dog where I could get all of the attention, or hang out with a submissive male. I weigh 68 pounds. I would love a new home this year! Can you foster or adopt me? Please email for an application.

Story
MEET IVY! Ivy is a 4-1/2-year-old beautiful Dutch Shepherd mix in need of a forever home! She is currently in the Greater Seattle area. Ivy loves to run, hike and walk when she gets the chance, but indoors she has an "off" button and is super calm and quiet. She has zero issues with resource guarding, stealing food, excessive barking, or chewing. She also cooperates well with teeth brushing and nail trimming. She's also extremely smart, and is quick to learn new things. A great girl! She has earned her AKC Canine Good Citizen and Community certificates and has been learning nose work, for which she has great aptitude. In addition to basic obedience, she knows right and left and can do a variety of tricks. She shows affection by leaning against you, nudging you with her nose, or gazing into your eyes with tail wagging. She loves to be scratched on the back of her neck and behind her ears. Like many active dogs, Ivy must get regular exercise and mental stimulation to be at her best. She would be perfectly suited to a person or people with an active lifestyle, someone who will give her a job or exercise that she loves. She's a wonderful, loving, amazing companion. She is great with other dogs. She weighs 75 lbs. Please email for an application.
