Say hello to Junior!  He is incredibly sweet and smart.  This adorable boy can be a little shy at first, but once he opens up you will feel all the love he has to give.  Junior has learned a few tricks and if you have a yummy treat he will be glad to show them to you.  Our adorable boy is also crate traned (not his favorite place as he loves to be part of the action, but will sleep very well in it).  This smart boy is also leash train and does very well in the car.  He will be an incredible fit for any family.    Why adopt from Texas? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future. An opportunity to be loved and cared for by good and loving families. There is a reason why we make the trip to your area every two weeks. You are worth the drive. We have AMAZING adopters and we need more like them.We have fosters all over the Pacific Northwest allowing us to post in specific cities. Due to Covid 19 restrictions all Meet & Greets have been cancelled to keep everyone safe. Our adoptable pets are in Houston living with local foster families making the transition into your household a whole lot easier. Our transport company leaves Houston every 2 weeks for Oregon, Idaho, Washington, and Canada (Canadian adopters will meet us in Bellingham, WA). We will book your baby as soon as adoption & transport fees have been received.   Our adoption fee includes transport and a Health Certificate from a local vet to certify your new pet is clear to travel accross state lines. If you have fallen madly in love and would like to make this baby part of your family, then go to www.springbranchrescue.org ##1451332##

Story
I hope you're having a great day! I've got some exciting news to share with you, but before that, did you know that German Shepherd Dogs were the first guide dogs in the 1920s? And the best part is, my half-siblings are still a popular choice today! Being part of this legacy has been an amazing experience, and I'm looking forward to starting a new chapter with you. I can't wait to spend some quality time with you in the near future. Just imagine the fun we'll have on our daily walks, playing catch on a sunny Sunday afternoon, or simply enjoying the outdoors. I promise to be your faithful companion every step of the way, and I'm not just saying that because I'm an excellent buddy. I've got a charming personality, and I'm devilishly handsome with a lush coat that craves daily brushing! I understand that life can sometimes be lonely, but I'm here to keep you company with my cuddles and hugs. I know what it feels like to be alone - I was just recently living on the streets all by myself. But now I'm ready and willing to be your best friend. And if you're looking for a new human friend, then you're in luck! With my good looks, I'll make the perfect wingman by making new friends for you wherever we go. People can't resist my soft, gentle brown eyes, and I just love making new friends. I've had my share of ups and downs, but I'm excited to start a new journey with you. One day, I got separated from my previous family and lost my way. It was a challenging time, but I was fortunate enough to make many friends along the way. I played with children, walked with moms and babies, hung out with teenagers, and even shared lunch with construction workers. The neighbors were kind enough to invite me over for dinner, and lay cozy beds on their front porches for me to sleep at night. I felt loved and cared for.    I'm ready to get back to work and make your life better. So let's make some unforgettable memories together! Fill out my application and bring me home today. Time is ticking, and I don't want to miss out on any of the amazing adventures that we'll have together. I'm 10 years old, HW- and vaccines up-to-date, and I can't wait to start a new chapter with you! ##2039507##

Story
Buster has been a member of our family for over a year and is loving, energetic, and impetuous. His exuberance is paired with a strong prey drive focused on rabbits and squirrels, untested with cats. He is ambivalent about other dogs (lives with a tiny terrier) and has never exhibited signs of reactivity. He would love to spend his life chasing ANYTHING, and will often do the scooby-doo scramble across hard surfaces to get wherever he is going quickly. He does best with durable toys and a securely fenced yard - he's an explorer! He has SO much love to give - his whole body wags and he leans against anyone he considers a friend. He is protective (but not aggressive) and travels well on walks and in the car. He can use a dog door, and knows the commands sit, stay, out, and off. He is 100% housebroken. He is food-motivated, which makes training easy. He'll be a perfect partner for someone with time and energy! Comes with crate, e-collar, loads of toys and a lifetime of fun!

Story
Get ready to fall head over heels for the irresistibly charming and playful M&M! This adorable boy is the heart and soul of every party, instantly making friends with everyone he meets, whether they have fur or not. From dogs to cats, M&M sees everyone as a new buddy. He absolutely loves splashing in water and dashing around the yard with his foster brothers, bringing joy and laughter wherever he goes. M&M is making remarkable progress with crate training and is almost an expert. He's fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped, eagerly waiting for his forever family. You can see our posts because we have fosters all over the Pacific Northwest & East Coast. This is allowing us to post in areas 250 radius from our fosters locations. Why adopt from Texas because our city is in crisis and animals die by the Hundreds in our shelters never able to find a place to call home. We find homes for those that are in our care, and then able to help more in need. We offer transportation for this sweet boy to the Pacific Northwest and the East Coast, making it even easier for him to join your loving home. Story
Prepare to fall in love with Sunshine, the sweet and affectionate girl who gets along with everyone she meets. With her easy-going nature, Sunshine is a breeze to have around. She's housebroken, crate trained, and walks beautifully on a leash—truly a gem among our fosters! Sunshine's Journey: This brave mama was found in North Houston with her nine tiny pups. Despite facing harrowing stormy nights, she never strayed from their side, even moving them under pieces of collapsed fencing to keep them safe. Despite her past hardships, which included being kicked and pushed around, Sunshine's loving and gentle spirit remains unbroken. She adores other dogs and is eager to be part of their circle of trust. With Sunshine, you'll always know how much she cares. If you're a loving adopter searching for a loyal companion, look no further! Sunshine is fantastic with humans, incredibly gentle with kids, and completely non-reactive to cats. Don't miss out on this diamond in the rough—Sunshine is ready to bring joy and love into your home! Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future from a city that has an animal crisis.  We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wandering our streets.  So many have been dumped and cannot find their way home.  Many never even had a home and were born on the streets.  WE gave them a chance.  Every animal deserves a chance. We know if adopted by you they will be loved and cared for. We believe in our local and out of state applicants.  There is a reason we drive to the Pacific Northwest every 2 weeks.  You are worth the drive. We have AMAZING adopters, and we need more like them.  No matter if you live here in Houston, the Pacific Northwest or Canada we welcome you!  Thank you for considering adopting and not shopping.  If we are in Houston, then how can you see our posts?   Spring Branch Rescue has fosters all over the Pacific Northwest allowing us to post in specific cities. Yes, our rescue is in Houston.  Our available animals live with foster families.  This is a win for you as the transition from our home to yours will be a much easier one.  We do have foster homes in your area.  This is why you can see our posts.  Unfortunately Meet & Greets has been cancelled due to Covid Restrictions.  Almost all our animal travel has been adopted.  We have been doing this since 2019 and have been very successful.  Please look at our adopter’s reviews https://greatnonprofits.org/org/spring-branch-rescue ##2139801##

Story
MEET RED! Red is a 1-1/2-year old loving and highly intelligent dog in need of a forever home! He is currently in a foster home in the Greater Seattle area. Red is great mix of smart and loyal breeds. He is part German Shepherd and Rottweiler, with a few other breeds like Border Collie and Australian Shepherd thrown in. (We did a DNA test - we're happy to share it!). Red is such a great dog in many ways: He is dog friendly, kid friendly and active. He is eager to learn, and will be excited to continue his training with a human companion. (He currently went through obedience training!). He does well off leash on walks in the country, and has wonderful recall. Once he knows you, he does not run off. He is constantly looking for fun things to chase but will look to you for permission and “leave it” when told. Red is also praise motivated and a fast learner. He gets along well with other dogs (loves dog parks!) but needs some gentle correction when he first meets friends because he excites easily at play time. He loves to romp with similar energy dogs, and he would thrive in a pack. He has a strong prey drive, but with proper instruction he has left the cat alone in his current foster home. He is always looking to his person for guidance and commands. Red is also great with all people once he has been slowly introduced to them as his desire to guard his family comes naturally to him. He is not toy or food aggressive, and is crate trained. He loves going for car rides and can be left alone while running errands (he does get car sick now and then). For long trips he may need medication until he hopefully grows out of it. He gets bored easily, should not be left outside in the yard unattended and would do best with someone who works from home or is retired, and who can give him the exercise and stimulation he needs. At the end of the day, Red enjoys lying by your feet or next to you on a couch. He is a snuggler and wants to be close to his people. He's such an awesome dog and companion. If you are looking for a sweet, loyal and active dog and are excited to continue to be his partner in training, Red would be perfect for you. He weighs 70 lbs. Please email for an application.

Story
Toby is a 5-6 year old, 90-100lb Shepherd mix who is looking for his perfect forever home. Toby was abused in his past and due to this will need a very specific family. He is very sweet and loyal with his people once he is bonded. Toby is looking for a home that has a fully fenced yard out of the city. Somewhere rural and quiet would be perfect for him! He prefers women to men and can take some time to trust men. His ideal home would be female only, but could do ok with a female/male couple if the man was patient and could build trust with him. Toby needs a home without kids and other animals. No other dogs or cats. Toby can walk fine on leash around other dogs but needs to be the only dog in the home. Toby loves to run and play and will love to spend time with his people in his backyard soaking up the sun and running around. Toby is neutered, UTD on shots and microchipped. His adoption fee is $200.
