German Shepherd Dog

Male, Adult
Jefferson, WI
Size
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
Details
Good with dogs, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
2 years old (estimated) Neutered male Has done well with other dogs at the shelter No known experience with cats or children Boa is a sweet, friendly, and athletic boy who loves being outside, wrestling with his doggie pals, and soaking up all the butt scratches he can get! He’s a pro at sitting nicely for treats, and while his leash manners could use a little work (he’s got a bit of a pull), he’s a smart, eager-to-please pup who’s ready to learn — especially if treats are involved. If you’re looking for an energetic, fun-loving companion, Boa’s your guy! The online adoption listing websites require that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.March 19, 2025, 3:20 pm

Story
Yara is a very loyal GSD. She is looking for a human that will have time to spend with her daily. She loves walks but still gets a little excited on them. Yara is looking for a home where she is the only dog getting all the attention. She does not do well with other dogs. Yara loves to snuggle her toys. She just started playing fetch at age 5 - she would rather just hang out by the fire while you pet her or do yard work. She is very healthy and has had no health issues. She (and her owner) will be pretty picky in choosing her new forever home because she knows she is very loved and her owner is going to have a tremendously hard time letting her go.

Story
Life before the shelter wasn`t very nice to me. I came in so thin you could see my bones. After working to get my weight back up to normal and helping socialize me, I`m finally ready to start my new life! This new life would be best with someone that understands shy dogs and no little kids. I will need time to settle with the family, but once I do, boy oh boy, I`m just the best! Playing is just the best thing!Ask about me today!!

Story
I really need a family with another dog (or can be only dog), a securely fenced yard and someone that works from home. You can contact us directly at Kzyrnr17@yahoo.com or info@dogdiggityrescue.com, or fill out an application at either https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HTX/Exotic/Other I need an active German Shepherd family home. Patty is a 8 mos old 45 lb active German Shepherd mix (probably some Belgian Malnois) I will do best with an active alpha German Shepherd experienced owner with a secure 6 ft fenced yard. I am a semi energetic happy gal that LOVES my people unconditionally. I do like other dogs and cats. I like daily walks, car rides, toys, dog beds and hanging out with my humans. I am house trained and crate trained. (but much prefer being free and hanging out with my humans ....do you work from home?) I will require daily walks and some dog training. No children under 6 yrs of age. I am NOT an apartment or condo dog. I am a family pet! This is a courtesy post for Helotes Humane Society You can contact us directly at Kzyrnr17@yahoo.com or info@dogdiggityrescue.com, or fill out and application at either https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HTX/Exotic/Other All adopted pups and dogs are transported to WA/OR families when fully vetted, spayed/neutered and microchipped. For information on how to adopt me, please contact my foster parents at info@dogdiggityrescue.com. L&S Dog Diggity Rescue is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets.
