Story
Looking to rehome my 1 year old german shorthaired pointer mix, Jalapeno (nicknamed Hal). He is a wonderful dog, but needs to be in a home with NO small animals. His prey drive is very high. He is fully house trained, crate trained, and knows his basic commands well. Hal is neutered and chipped. Hal would be great in a 1 dog home, or possibly with a larger dog(s). He is very, very friendly with people. Hal is about 35 lbs; a great medium size. I cannot stress how great of a dog he is. He is a wonderful snuggler and has a silly underbite and loves to show it off with his great smile! I will be charging a small rehoming fee of $50 & will be picky with any applicants to ensure he is going to a loving home that is a proper fit for him to thrive. Hal will come with his large crate (foldable), the remainder of his food (he prefers a lamb based diet), and some of his toys!

Story
Hudson is 9 months old and very energetic. He is sweet and happy and is ready to play at anytime. He does play and entertain himself but also enjoys playing with others who will throw him a ball or play tug-a-war with rope. The ideal home for Hudson is with someone who is home most days throughout the day. Possibly someone that works from home. A home with other dogs and kids and a fenced in backyard. He needs lots of exercise. Also, someone that has time to train and work with him daily.

Story
FREE TO THE RIGHT HOME Finn is a 4 year old extremely sweet and energetic GSP/Chocolate Lab mix. You wouldn't think he's sweet because he has difficulty around strangers. He has been our baby since he was a mere 8 weeks old, so please know that this decision is not easy at all, and it was thought over time and time again. We are doing this so that he can have the life that he deserves, because he truly is an amazing dog once you give him a chance. - Loves car rides - Loves playing in water - Loves counter surfing - Loves snuggles at bedtime - Loves window watching - Loves playing frisbee - Especially loves fetching ball - Gets along with dogs and cats away from food - Has severe general anxiety (strangers/males) and separation anxiety. Anxiety towards males is likely because he is not fixed, so doing so could probably help that. NEEDS owner with more land or farm to run. Loves being outside. Would solve everything. We love him and want to make sure he has a great home and life.

This adorable little gal came to us all the way from Georgia along with her sister, Baby Mollie. Baby Mindy is your typical puppy, very friendly, outgoing, and playful. She loves all dogs, big and small. She is also very affectionate and loves to be held and cuddled. At her young age, Baby Mindy is in her prime for training and socialization, and she will make a wonderful companion for years to come. Please remember that young puppies require a lot of time, love, and patience to become the best doggie citizens they can be. Submit an application today and change this sweet girl's life forever! Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.           Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (at partner vet if not fixed before adoption), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets. Foster Program:    Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.  For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit  http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/  or email our Foster Coordinator at  foster@k-9lifesavers.orgSponsor Me!    Make a  tax-deductible donation  today by visiting us at http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/donate/.
