I love stuffed toys, bones and chasing toys outside.* I adore attention from people, the company of other dogs, and am always up for a good cuddle session.* Click here to see me in action! * I do very well in my crate (when I'm scared jazz music helps calm me) and am making great progress on my house manners. * I am currently working on the "sit" command and am eager to learn. I am food motivated, so that is a big training plus!* I'm still a puppy, so please be patient with me when I make a mistake or forget my manners. Continued training and daily exercise would be appreciated.* I would love a family that has a way for me to run around and play with other dogs, either at my new home or at a dog park/play date.* After the rain this past week, I had a blast playing in the water and running around getting wet!This girl is super sweet, cuddly and adorable! Fiona-Pointer X female, ~ 3-4yr. (July 2024) Contact rescuebc@hotmail.com for an application. Fiona came to Rescue from a high kill big city shelter. She was on the list to lose her life to euthanasia that very day. This was happening only because the shelter is way overwhelmed with dogs needing homes. Fiona went into a rescue foster home and has proved to be an excellent dog. She's about 35-40#, full of intelligence and life. She plays well with the other foster dogs, is very social. Best of all, she loves people and wants to interact with his humans. She would be an excellent hiking or walking partner. Fiona's adoption fee is $350 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption . If you’re reading this, we here in the rescue already know you’re a special person. It takes a very special, kind, loving, extremely caring person to consider adopting an adult/senior dog. The world needs more people like you and dogs like Gunnar need people like you. Gunner’s family has decided they would like to rehome him through no fault of his own. Gunner might be a little set in his ways, but who isn’t at this age? Gunner would be great with an older couple, no other dogs and not lots of small kids in and out. He is not a huge fan of little dogs. He hasn’t ever bitten anyone or anything, but has snapped at some smaller dogs who get on his nerves 😂. We could easily put you in touch with his current family and they can tell you all about him if interested. This guy just needs a great home to live out the rest of his days and in and a family that won’t turn their back on him again. Once adopted, Gunner will travel via Rescue Vet Transport to his new family. They travel each and every weekend from Memphis, Tennessee to the north east, delivering pups along the way as far north as West Greenwich, Rhode Island. Transport is an additional $185.
