Story
Meet Mary Ann and Ginger, an adorable bonded pair of medium-sized rescue dogs who are searching for their forever home. These super cute girls have spent their entire lives on their own until they were recently rescued. Despite their rough beginnings, Mary Ann and Ginger are incredibly sweet and are now learning to enjoy the comforts of a loving home. Both Mary Ann and Ginger get along wonderfully with other dogs, though they haven't had the chance to meet any cats yet. They need a patient adopter who will give them the time and space they need to adjust to their new surroundings and discover the joys of being cherished pets. Ginger, who bravely underwent heartworm treatment, is now healthy and heartworm negative. Both dogs are fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, and on preventatives. They even tolerate baths and absolutely love being petted. Currently, Mary Ann and Ginger are being fostered in Seguin, TX, where they are receiving the care and love they deserve. If you have a kind heart and a gentle hand, these two sweethearts will surely reward you with endless affection and loyalty. Adopt Mary Ann and Ginger and give them the loving home they've always dreamed of.

Active, intelligent, and enthusiastic, Calmari is a high-energy dog who is eager to please. Cal is a classic coloring of liver with white (deep red colored fur with white speckled chest) Cal is fostered with dogs of all sizes- Great Danes to Pitties; he loves making new dog friends. A true German Shorthaired Pointer - He loves being on the go- running a yard, car rides or working out new scents (would thrive with scent detection work, agility course or hiking). Vaccinated, Neutered, Microchipped, heartworm negative -on prevention. FOSTERED IN TEXAS. *Adoption Fee includes fee by van transport to PNW, Midwest or NY-NJ-CT-VA-VT states by pet transport partners. Apply! The staff asked for help because they were full and would have to make room - he was skinny with a bad skin infection so continued medical attention was needed. He has gained weight, his fur has grown back and he has healed completely. He required antibiotics and medicated shampoo to address the skin infection and inflammation in his paws.

Story
Rooster is an 83 pound ooey gooey sweetheart of a good boy who’s had a little bit of a rough start in life. He was at a local shelter in late summer of 2024, and was adopted by a young man who had just suddenly lost his mom. Due to another unexpected & devastating death in his family, Rooster’s owner had to change living situations and found a temporary foster for him. He planned on getting Rooster back after graduating from high school in May, but made the difficult decision to surrender Rooster due to some uncertainty surrounding what the future holds for him. Fortunately, Funny Farm specializes in providing happy endings for difficult situations. We believe Rooster has a perfect adopter out there who will love his playfulness, tender heart, easygoing attitude, goofy personality, and his unique physical features (brindle coat, speckled feet, double dew claws, docked tail). He’s quite a handsome catch who gets along with everyone (other dogs, cats, kids, etc.). He’s just as happy to go for a frolic as he is to snuggle up with you on the couch. He’s truly a dog for all seasons. If you are interested in giving Rooster the happy ending that he deserves, you will need to submit an application at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FFRR/Dog You can read all about our TN based rescue and how the adoption and transport process works at funnyfarmpets.org Rooster’s adoption fee is $325. He is already neutered, and healthy as a horse. He should be ready to travel by the first of April. He is currently being fostered in Pinson, TN but can travel north with our trusted transport partner. Of course, we always welcome local adoptions too!
