Story
Howdy! I'm Darwin! I'm a 7-year-old, 70-pound German Shorthair Pointer and I'm super excited for a new adventure! I am in search of a new hiking buddy. I love off leash hikes in the woods or fields and will be your new best friend! I've grown up with kids and cats, and I do well with kids. I've spent time with kids aged 6 and older, and it's been wonderful. Although I haven't lived with other dogs, I've had great experiences with them at the dog park. Once in a while, a dog will rub me the wrong way but mostly, I get along with other dogs just fine so meeting any new housedogmate would be a great idea before taking me home. Overall, I've been around plenty of other dogs and had no issues. And get this - I get along well with cats, and I even like to playfully chase them! Now, onto my little quirks. I'm not a big fan of car rides, especially long ones. If I do need a long car ride, I prefer to be cozy in a crate. Like most dogs of my breed, I can get overstimulated with new people coming around but I really improve if I have had my exercise. Just take me out for my daily jaunt before guests arrive, and I will be much more cool and collected. The good news is that I am not a barker. I will alert for strangers coming but that is about it. Also, you can leave me home for periods and I am an angel. I won't disturb anything at all. The perfect home for me would have a spacious backyard or access to a field for walks. I need someone who can dedicate time and energy to fulfill my exercise needs. I adore following scents and exploring - it's my favorite thing to do! Are you my new person?

Story
Meet Mary Ann and Ginger, an adorable bonded pair of medium-sized rescue dogs who are searching for their forever home. These super cute girls have spent their entire lives on their own until they were recently rescued. Despite their rough beginnings, Mary Ann and Ginger are incredibly sweet and are now learning to enjoy the comforts of a loving home. Both Mary Ann and Ginger get along wonderfully with other dogs, though they haven't had the chance to meet any cats yet. They need a patient adopter who will give them the time and space they need to adjust to their new surroundings and discover the joys of being cherished pets. Ginger, who bravely underwent heartworm treatment, is now healthy and heartworm negative. Both dogs are fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, and on preventatives. They even tolerate baths and absolutely love being petted. Currently, Mary Ann and Ginger are being fostered in Seguin, TX, where they are receiving the care and love they deserve. If you have a kind heart and a gentle hand, these two sweethearts will surely reward you with endless affection and loyalty. Adopt Mary Ann and Ginger and give them the loving home they've always dreamed of.
