Story
Viral is a sweet, wiggly, and cuddly puppy! She LOVES people and other dogs and enjoys saying hi to anyone she meets. She will run around and play hard before cuddling up in your lap for a nap. She would do best in an active home where she can get lots of exercise for all of that puppy energy. She is housetrained (no accidents) and excellent in the crate -- very comfortable there and will sleep soundly in her crate for hours. She is the happiest dog, loves to explore and has a lot of enthusiasm. She is a quick learner and excelling at training. She can sit and stay (momentarily), and learning commands "wait" and "come." She is great with the two resident kids and gets along great with our dog. They have had lots of fun playing chase and tug with each other. She enjoys being held/carried and you won't be able to resist her puppy kisses! Are you ready to meet me? Visit https://www.wtarescue.com/adoption-process-2 to request a meet and greet and to learn more about the adoption process! Mandatory in-person transfer date: August 23rd at the Petsmart in Tysons Corner between 10:00 AM-11:00 AM. All adopters must attend in order to finalize the adoption. ##2072155##

Story
Hudson is 9 months old and very energetic. He is sweet and happy and is ready to play at anytime. He does play and entertain himself but also enjoys playing with others who will throw him a ball or play tug-a-war with rope. The ideal home for Hudson is with someone who is home most days throughout the day. Possibly someone that works from home. A home with other dogs and kids and a fenced in backyard. He needs lots of exercise. Also, someone that has time to train and work with him daily.

This adorable little gal came to us all the way from Georgia along with her sister, Baby Mollie. Baby Mindy is your typical puppy, very friendly, outgoing, and playful. She loves all dogs, big and small. She is also very affectionate and loves to be held and cuddled. At her young age, Baby Mindy is in her prime for training and socialization, and she will make a wonderful companion for years to come. Please remember that young puppies require a lot of time, love, and patience to become the best doggie citizens they can be. Submit an application today and change this sweet girl's life forever! Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.           Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (at partner vet if not fixed before adoption), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets. Foster Program:    Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.  For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit  http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/  or email our Foster Coordinator at  foster@k-9lifesavers.orgSponsor Me!    Make a  tax-deductible donation  today by visiting us at http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/donate/.
