Meet Phoebe! She was born around 4/4/24 in Oklahoma and was found dumped in the country. The other 3 littermate sisters were found first and came up to our rescue and then Phoebe showed up shortly after. Our vet’s best guess is German Wirehaired Pointer and Cocker Spaniel mix of some sort, but who knows. She currently weighs just 15 lbs. Phoebe is very submissive upon meeting other dogs and has done well with all sizes. She does wonderful with kids. She pretty much matches the energy around her. Playing with toys, going for walks or car rides, snuggling? She’s in! She has also been around cats and does great. She is very affectionate and loves to give kisses and be near her humans. Phoebe doesn’t love the crate yet, but if you are consistent and aren’t home to hear her whine she’ll easily get there. She’s not destructive and doesn’t have accidents in there. She’s almost fully housebroken now, but will use a potty pad once in awhile. Phoebe is up to date on all vaccines and dewormer, had her puppy exam, will be spayed by us at our vet’s office, is microchipped, and is ready to meet her forever family! She will make a sweet new companion for one lucky adopter! Her adoption fee donation is $415. All of our animals are in volunteer foster homes. Once an application is pre-approved (contingent upon a home check) we will contact applicants that are a good match and set up a time for a meet. At that time we are happy to answer all of your questions. No inquiries prior to that please. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, examined by a vet, up-to-date on vaccinations, on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchipped. We adopt our animals as strictly inside companion pets. We will do a veterinarian reference check and a home safety check. We are located in Omaha, NE and we do not ship our animals. We are all volunteers so please be patient with us. Our requested adoption fees help go towards medical expenses, food, transportation, toys, and other supplies for our animals.
