CC is my name and it is a very special name!! Know why?? Cause I was named after a very loving woman who was the mother to all the rescuers :) She passed away the day I was saved and that is how I got my name. We all miss Mom a lot but now that I am ready for my furever home we know she is smiling with Jesus and finding me the right family! So I am a scruffy girl, only about 18# of love and silliness. I was found at a school and was so so scared but KNEW that I wanted to be saved, so I MADE myself get close to the rescuer and she caught me!! Now I am a house DIVA. I love my couch, my crate, my heat and air conditioning and my FRIENDS!!! I have quite a few friends, people and pups :) I do have to tell you, my toys are MINE.... so if you have another dog for me (which i really need... just realize that I am a work in progress and want my toys to be mine) I am the kind of girl who would love to live in a relatively quiet home, with a family who doesn't force me to meet alot of new people and will understand if I show myself to my crate when I am uncomfortable... I love to ride in the car, I am great friend when I get to know you but I will take a little longer to be a friendly lap dog- so patience is a must! I am ready for you, and will be waiting until Mom sends my family!! Local adoption fee is $350 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $650 (includes transport to your area)

Meet Bugsy: Bugsy was discovered by our rescue team at approximately five months old, roaming the streets of Texas with a severely embedded collar. He is now one year old and weighs 52 lbs. Bugsy has recently been transported to East Hartford, Connecticut for a fresh start. He has striking light blue eyes, and although we have not conducted a DNA test, we suspect he maybe an Irish Wolfhound/Husky mix, why you might ask? Bugsy has all the personality and traits, sweet, loyal, calm, easy going, quiet, gentle, noble, sensitive and overall easy going! Bugsy is seeking a quiet home, ideally without small children, as he is somewhat timid. He enjoys the company of other dogs and his foster mom has a cat which he has shown no interest in. He is 100% potty trained, just show him the door. He is low maintenance and very happy to hang around the house all day but also enjoys a walk at his own slow pace LOL. This includes: spay/neuter (at our vet), vaccines (dhpp, bordetella, rabies), microchip, health certificate, fecal test and our dogs are on preventatives for fleas/ticks/heartworm. Out of state adopters must also pay for an interstate health certificate to their state. (This is typically around $65.00. Adopter will pay actual cost.)
