Story
Meet Loving Levi, an affectionate  3-year-old, 55-pound Goldendoodle with a heart as big as his fluffy curls! Levi is searching for a forever home with a fenced yard and a playful dog companion companion or two. Full of life, love, and loyalty—the three “L’s” that inspired his name—this charming boy will be your loyal, fun-loving friend. Levi thrives on companionship and will happily be your “Velcro dog,” always close by. He adores humans and other animals alike, and while he’s not a fan of being left alone for long, he’s calm and content in his foster home, spending time with his furry friends when his foster mom is away. When she’s home, Levi loves curling up by her feet as she works, and he’ll always greet you with enthusiasm and kisses, making you feel truly appreciated! With his soft poodle coat and an adorable white patch on his forehead (perfect for giving kisses!), Levi is as sweet as he is handsome. Although he currently doesn’t live with kids, Levi is always gentle and polite around them, making him a wonderful addition to any family. He’s well-mannered in his foster home, uses the doggie door to go outside. Car rides and walks are some of his favorite activities, and he’s ready to join you on every adventure. Levi is a healthy boy—neutered, up-to-date on all vaccinations, heartworm prevention, and microchipped. He’s just waiting for a family to share his endless love and loyalty. Critter Cavalry Animal Rescue is a Middle Tennessee-based 501(c)(3) dedicated to saving high-risk animals like Levi. As part of our mission, we travel to the Northeast weekly, bringing pets like Levi closer to their forever families. For more about our drop-off points and times, visit www.CritterCavalry.com. Story
Ajax is a gorgeous male Golden Retriever mix that has come from a high kill shelter that begged Critter Cavalry Rescue to take him in to our program.  He is about 3-4 years of age and weighs 65 pounds and is the most loving and easy dog to have around.  He is in transit to our rescue now and they have assured us that he will make some family the happiest people on the planet.  He is the total package when you think of adopting a dog that  you possibly cannot meet.  We have full assurance that this “total package” boy is easy going, happy, great with people and other dogs and knows when to relax around his canine friends.  He is not a high energy guy.  He has preferred to lounge in the play yard at the former shelter and just take it easy, rather than do zoomies around the fence.  Chill is probably an appropriate description.  If you work from home this boy would not disturb any of your phone calls or work needs.  Ajax would be that quiet guy that sits by your feet and just keeps you company.  They say he is housebroken and could be in a crate if needed, but we think he probably would be the dog you can trust “home alone” for hours.  Don’t miss out on this one.  The Goldens and mixes go fast and Ajax deserves to not have to hang out long without being scooped up and loved. If you are interested, please be sure to email us ASAP at ccrnewengland@gmail.com    He is in Tennessee and able to be transported to the northeastern corridor.  We have many stops along the way to meet the transport van. PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comMarch 14, 2025, 8:28 pm

To learn more about Honey, please get in touch with dogs@lostdogrescue.org Honey was surrendered from a commercial breeder. She was no longer wanted, and had no place to go. Honey deserved better, so we opened our doors and hearts to change that for her. She is an adorable, special little dog who has endured quite a lot on her way to the safety of Lost Dog & Cat Rescue Foundation. She is looking for a family with abundant patience, love, and an understanding of her needs to help her be a wonderful companion - and your best friend forever. She would especially enjoy the company of another dog to show her how much fun being a part of a family can be! Honey is an excellent companion for those willing to spend time with her. She can be a little fearful at times, which just means she needs a loving and patient home where she can truly come out of her shell. Despite her timid nature, Honey's gentle demeanor shines through, making her a comforting presence in any home. If you're looking for a loyal friend who will constantly surprise you with her intelligence and warm your heart with her gentle nature, Honey is the dog for you. Contact Lost Dog today to meet Honey!

I am part of the L Litter of ten cuties (Babe Leo, Babe Lime, Babe Lemonade, Babe Levi, Babe Lennox, Babe Lincoln, Babe Liam, Babe Luca, Babe Landon and Babe Lucinda). We came from a rural part of Georgia. Thankfully, we have been rescued by K-9 Lifesavers and given a second chance in life. While I have loved living with my siblings in the BIG puppy pile, I am now ready to find my very own home. Could that be with you? I'm your typical sweet and friendly puppy. I am very playful and just love other dogs too. At my young age, I am in my prime for training and socialization. I will make an amazing addition to an active home. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.           Adoption fees cover basic vetting, spay/neuter surgery (at partner vet if not fixed before adoption), rabies, distemper/parvo vaccinations, treatment for worms, heartworm testing, monthly heartworm prevention and monthly flea/tick prevention (while the animal is in our care), and transport costs from high-kill shelter. Please note that on average, K-9 Lifesavers spend significantly more on each dog than their adoption fee. Adoption fee for HW positive dog also covers heartworm treatment at our partner vets. Foster Program:    Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.  For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit  http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/  or email our Foster Coordinator at  foster@k-9lifesavers.orgSponsor Me!    Make a  tax-deductible donation  today by visiting us at http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/donate/  . Story
Sweet Tulip is looking for a new home. She previously lived with a family with younger kids. This environment turned out to be a bit too much for this old soul. She's thriving in her foster home (who has teenage kids). Tulip is timid when meeting new dogs but warms up, as long as she's given space. The same applies to meeting new people. She's cautious and will need a family who's able to be patient with this finicky girl. A quiet home with another quiet dog or cat would be perfect for Tulip. This girl has basic obedience down pat and is good on leash. Do you have a cat? That's great because Tulip loves them! She's a master snuggler and loves to play with her toys. She's fully housetrained, crate trained and very respectful within the home. She's a low energy gal who's ready to find her forever spot. The adoption fee for this dog is $425 which includes routine vetting and spay/neuter. PetConnect Rescue cannot guarantee the exact breed of any animal in our care. The breed listed is based on any background we may have been provided, and the general appearance of the animal at the time they enter our system. For more information, please email kberger@petconnectrescue.org **If you're viewing this on Petfinder, please visit www.petconnectrescue.org to complete our non-binding application. **

Story
Scuttle loves people and dogs, sniffing, splashing in water, and fetch. Scuttle has an unmatched joy for life, and throws himself fully into whatever he’s doing, whether that’s exploring the world with his big nose, playing fetch, or snuggling with you on the couch. This young man is a ball of joy, spreading licks and tail wags to every person he meets, all he wants to do is make everyone happy! His need to please is the only thing greater than his love of treats, so make sure he gets lots of belly rubs and head scratches.Scuttle is still a teenager, and he’s navigating his way through the world and how to behave in it, but his eagerness for affection and treats makes it very simple to show him exactly what to do! He’s a fast learner and loves new tricks and games, whether he’s practicing his “sit” or “down”, or learning some new tools for his toolbox like “touch”, “place”, or “middle”. He can pick up a new trick in a matter of minutes and absolutely loves showing them off! As a young man, Scuttle has a lot of energy, but his lazy lab soul means that once he’s had some mental and physical stimulation, he will nap and self-entertain for hours. Scuttle is a very brave boy, inquisitive while being respectful of boundaries. He never chews anything that isn’t given to him as a toy and leaves things like power cords and electronic devices completely alone.
