He was a gift to a cancer patient who had no idea of his breed and ,when he grew to his current size in six months, he became too much for them so they let him play outside free roam style. His spunky nature didn't work with the other neighbors and he was going to get shot by them if he wasn't chained. (Nice I know) He was brought into rescue and introduced to a more civilized way of life.He's learning to walk on a leash, he loves stuffed animals and plenty of play time. He's never met a critter he doesn't like and when it comes to humans he loves to stand up and look you in the eyes for hugs and kisses.A play pal would be great for him being his is so young and he definitely needs room to burn off that puppy energy.He has that puppy vibe but learns right from wrong quickly and is very well mannered.He's as mellow as he is energetic and loves his couch time.His first six months of life were basically free range, self sufficient living with his little girlfriend.This doodle is an awesome pal and would thrive in pretty much any environment, but remember, he is pushing eighty pounds and is only around eight months old. Lovely, sweet, gentle Hazel!! Dream dog. Smart. Gentle. Very sweet. Hazel is our 6- 7 month old Golden Retreiver mix. She weighs 50 lbs and is a complete love. Hazel gets along fabulously with the other dogs here at the rescue. If you are looking for a new family member that is FUN then this sweet girl will be perfect. She loves to snuggle and just be with you but is active and loves to play. Great off leash. So sweet & happy all the time. Oh, and simply one beautiful pup! Her coat is gorgeous. Hazel had an old eye injury when she came to the rescue but had since had surgery to have her eye removed. Unfortunately the eye could not be repaired. She has healed fast and needs no further care. She is ready for her new life. Lake decided that maybe a new hairdo would help him find his forever home - and we manage to catch it on film!!!. Lake is only about 2 years old, and is such a good boy. We really can't understand why he hasn't been snatched up by some very lucky adopter. Lake was found injured, having been hit by a car and taken to the local shelter. His hip was broken, but has been surgically repaired - and he' as good as new with just a slight limp (which doesn;t slow him down one bit)! He is fully vetted, housebroken (but is still VERY puppy so a crate or safe space is highly recommended when he is left alone), vaccinated, and ready to go on an adventure with his new forever people! This dog is a happy puppy that will need some training.
