We adopted Moses four years ago to be a friend for our son, who is an only child. They got along great, and Moses also did really well with our two cats we had adopted the year before. But over the last four years, we bonded so much with the cats that we kept adopting more. Our son has turned out to be more of a cat person as well. In addition, our lifestyle leaves Moses in his crate a lot, while the cats roam free. We’ve decided that it’s not fair to him anymore, and he deserves a home who can truly appreciate the wonderful dog that he is. Included in the adoption fee: - Crate - Crate cover - Padded crate floor mat - 30lb food container with sealing lid - Collar - Leash with waste bag dispenser - Several rolls of waste cleanup bags - His favorite toys - Vet records

Story
Leo is a cute little doodle guy looking for a home!  He is crate trained and house trained.  He will whine when he needs to go out.  He likes exploring a fenced in area and enjoys being outside on nice days.  He can sit, shake and lay down.  His favorite activities are eating and unstuffing toys.     He likes playing tug with his toys and the other dogs.  He gets along well with the other dogs in his foster home and would be just as happy without other dogs.  Like most doodles, he likes to bark and would probably not be suitable for apartment living.  He also likes to bark at the tv but knows to go to his room/crate when told.     His hair grows quickly and curly and needs to be kept up on grooming to prevent getting matted.  He does pretty well for this.  He likes to be in your lab whenever you are sitting down.  Also like a lot of doodles, he does have some allergies and benadryl and watching his diet seem to help with that.  He has not been around kids/cats in his foster home.  But seems like he would do best in a quieter environment.  He does get very excitable meeting new dogs but after a few mins he calms down and then mostly ignores them.  Occasionally he will play with them.   ##2350674##

Meet Apollo, a 7-year-old Mini Goldendoodle from Grandville, MI. Apollo is house-trained, crate-trained, and low-energy overall. This sweet boy truly thrives in a peaceful, low-stimulation environment. However, he experiences anxiety and can be unpredictable when overstimulated, especially with sudden movements or unfamiliar situations. He’s currently on doggy Prozac to help manage his anxiety and has been evaluated by multiple behavior specialists. While he’s never bitten anyone severely, he does nip and snap, so his caregiver feels he’s not suitable for a home with children due to his unpredictable reactions when startled. He’s up to date on vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped. This quirky, cuddly pup has so much love to give to the right person. If you have a quiet home, a secure yard, and experience with anxious & reactive dogs, Apollo could be your most rewarding companion yet!

Churro was given to me as a Christmas present. He is super playful and sweet. He’s 1 year and a half old. He still needs his rabies and distemper/lepto vaccine. Hasn’t been neutered. He has all the required vaccines before turning 1 year old. My spouse and I have had a very busy schedule and just don’t have the time to care for him. I’m hoping to find him a loving and caring family that has the time and energy to take care of him.

Wells has been the most amazing companion these past 3 years. All he wants is cuddles and to follow you around the house wherever you go. He loves walks, is completely house trained and lets you know when he wants to go outside by ringing a bell. He has separation anxiety and resource guarding and because of that we can no longer keep him in our home with our young daughters. He has bitten on multiple occasions but I truly believe with the proper training with a family without kids he will thrive. We are devastated but want to find him a good home. He is such a sweet boy.

Story
I adopted Rusty, a 4-year-old goldendoodle, from a shelter here in Oakland County at the end of 2024. He is currently living with me (31-year-old male) in Royal Oak, MI. Rusty is affectionate with me, greets me enthusiastically after work, and enjoys our daily walks. He has completed basic obedience training, and is improving on his leash manners and basic commands. He's friendly around my parents and sister. When in my house, Rusty has shown aggression towards friends and my brother, including briefly latching onto a friend's arm (no injury) and poking holes in another friend's shirt which produced light teeth scratch marks; he seems to lunge when over threshold. After calming down, he's more relaxed around guests (muzzled), even choosing to stay in the same room with us. Despite his positive traits, I'm concerned about his selective territorial aggression and want to explore rehoming options to a less social environment, prioritizing his well-being.
