Looking for a sweet and loving girl who just needs a family to lover her? Well this is your girl right here. She had a rough start when she first entered the shelter. With a lot of extra patience, love, caring, training etc. this girl is finally ready to be adopted. She was so scared when she came to us, very skinny and didn't trust anyone! We think due to her past experience she may be best to be the only dog in the home, but that is not a must. Same with it being a quiet home. The other dogs we have sometimes would scare her, but like we said she is so much better now since time has passed. She still has her days, but doesn't everyone? She does really well on a leash, but something we have noticed early on is that she does not like slip leads on her neck. She is fine with wearing a collar, but will need to have a secure harness on using a clip leash. She is totally fine using a harness it's way more comfortable for her. We don't know what happened to her in the past, but you can tell it wasn't the best. Her big brown eyes look at you just wanting so much love. This gal loves all the volunteers here at Pals, but does have a favorite that she listens to the best. Loretta Jane knows basic commands like sit, stay and paw. She will also need a family that will respect her and give her the time she needs to adjust to her new people and home. She will require a little more work than some other dogs here, but we promise she is worth the extra time and effort. We love her so much and want her to go to a great family who will show her what love really is! Please come meet this girl asap. Just remember she may be a little shy meeting new people! I got Stella when she was 6 weeks old and have cared for her until now when she is 5 years old. She is super cuddly and a gentle giant. She is spayed. I’ve gotten her all the necessary shots but it’s been about 2 years for rabies if you want to reup on that. Has never bitten or attacked anyone. I want a home that can walk and play with Stella. She is great with children and knows not to eat human food or children toys. I work a lot as a single mom and am burnt out with caring for everything and need to let Stella move onto another family. We got our dog, Cleopatra (Cleo), from the humane society when she was 12 weeks old. She is now 5 yrs old. She is a very loving dog. She’s great with kids and loves to meet new people. She’s playful but also a snuggler. We ask that at her new home that she has room to run around and a fenced in yard. She loves to explore and play; we just want to make sure she does that safely. She is good with other animals and usually warms up to them quickly. Cleo would be a great family pet for somebody or a good pet for someone who could be active with her and give her lots of attention. Cleo can be calm but also loves to be playful. Cleo is a big baby. She’s a sweetheart, so we just want the best for her.

Hello everyone, meet Buddy!! Buddy was initially found on the side of the road in December 2020 and I got the pleasure to provide this sweet boy with a home. He is approximately 4 1/2 years old now and is looking for his forever home. Due to a moving situation I am not longer able to take care of him and he is currently staying with Aunt until we can find his person. Buddy is a very special dog, truly a ball of love who wouldn’t mind being cuddled all day. He would choose running around and playing with his owner over walks. He definitely has his bursts of energy but can also be a couch potato. Buddy can be cautious around new people so taking time to introduce new friends is important. I also think he would thrive the most in a single dog home. He really is an amazing dog and I know will make a great companion to someone willing to put in the time, love and effort.
