Story
Artemis was adopted as a puppy from our local shelter, us believing she was a lab. We were very surprised when she just never stopped growing! She adores people, loves hugs, and loves to flop over for belly rubs at every available opportunity. She'll play for as long as you can stand for it, and will make sure any would be intruders think three times before trying anything. Artemis doesn't get along with unfixed female dogs, but does enjoy playing with male dogs that aren't too pushy. She leaves cats alone but does enjoy watching them wander around and doing things. We hate to have to let her go, but our other dogs are just too pushy for her and she gets stressed and snippy with them. She would thrive in a single family home, but would do well with a male pup that understands boundaries. She'd love to take up your whole bed and be your favorite pillow.

He is neutered and has his shots. Find our applications under the Adopt a dog tab on our website and email to beaglesandbuddies@gmail.com, then ask for an appointment. LOOK AT THOSE SWEET EYES - LOVES TO BE BRUSHED *Note that young dogs and pure breeds are at the highest end of our prices.* Please find our applications and valuable information under  "Adopt a dog"* on our website:  *www.beaglesandbuddies.com* and email your application to beaglesandbuddies@gmail.com. Let us know your preference of appointment day/time and which dogs you are interested in and we will do our best to accommodate and email you the closest appointment available. Please allow us up to a week to get back to you. Most appointments will be Friday-Sunday, 10 am - 2 pm, for an hour. *Note bring any other dog/s and the entire family to your meet and greet at B&B.* A complimentary training manual is included with each adoption, authored by terristeuben.com. Check out her website - she is fabulous! B&B is glad to be open during the pandemic. We know the value and comfort of a loving pet companion and are doing our best to help the dogs and folks who need them. We update our website daily and are always rescuing, vetting, rehabilitating, socializing. &#226&#128&#139 Are you my furrever family? For further info on the adoption process, please visit our home page and check out the "Adopt a Dog" section, which has thorough instructions.  All our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and  fully vaccinated before adoption; they have been wormed, bathed, socialized, walked daily and much loved; each adoptee leaves with a leash, collar, and all medical records.   Our prices are higher than the shelters' because we nurse the dogs through their illnesses and get them needed surgeries and dentals. We also spend time socializing. Furthermore, unlike shelters, rescues do not get financial aid from the government and must rely on donations, grants, and adoption fees. Our fees for adults start at $150 and usually go up to $750. Young adults that are high in demand may be a little over $750.00. For puppies and purebreds, we charge up to $1000. The lower end is for dogs who have been here a while. The good news is that, because rescues fall under the "charity" category, the fees for our dogs are officially donations and are therefore tax deductible. You can think of it as donating to a worthy cause and getting a dog in return!  Sponsor Me Beagles & Buddies must find ways to raise money so we can continue saving dogs. Your tax-deductible donation keeps our rescue kennel operating!  Hours Friday:  10 am to 3 pm Saturday:  10 am to 3 pm Sunday: 10 am to 3 pm Monday: CLOSED Tuesday: CLOSED Wednesday: CLOSED Thursday: CLOSED &#226&#128&#139 Weekday appointments may be available.  We are a small staff and do our best to accommodate your needs. **Note that during COVID, we are not holding open houses on any day. Please email us for an appointment and include your application (found on our website, beaglesandbuddies.com, under "Forms"). Most appointments will be Friday through Sunday, though other days may also be available. We usually schedule one appointment per hour. Allow 1-2 hours for your appointment. Please look at our website and make a list of one or more dogs that you would like to see. Story
2.5 year old male named Spock. Anatolian shepherd mix. Dad was full bred and mom was a mutt - beagle & others. Not fixed or well trained‼️We love him so much but him and his brother have been fighting too much recently and we can no longer have him here in our home. He will thrive being in a single dog home and he needs one on one attention and training. Hes very sweet and happy but he just needs more attention and training both of which my family cannot do at the moment. When we try and train him he freaks out and we just cannot be with him 24/7 to help him. I dont want to give him away to the pound so please if you’re interested let me know!
