Story
This charismatic and beautiful young 1 year-old, 72 lbs Great Pyrenees girl is called Myra. Found in the Nashville Tennessee area as a stray this girl is now in New England area in a foster home.   We are looking for a mature and settled home that is quiet and will be a leader for Myra and help her to know that she must follow the rules of the household. This girl has a warm and uplifting smile and a huge desire to be petted and given attention. She is wonderful with other dogs and loves to play in a fenced yard.  She is housebroken and comfortable in a home.  We have key suggestions as to how to set boundaries for such a big girl when getting acclimated to a new environment and family. Please contact us at ccrnewengland@gmail.com or leave a text message at 615-661-5333. Story
We have had Winter since she was a puppy. She came from a breeder in PA And she is going to be 4 in October of this year. Her brother Leo is a Bernese Mountain dog. Over all she gets along with him but she is very protective of her food and Leo has learned to not be near her while eating. Winter barks at cars and when she is startled, which then causes her to turn against Leo. She is great with us and once comfortable she just rests and lays around. She is not spayed. I think she would do well alone, no small children and in a big fenced area to run around. She is crate trained, has sleep in her crate her entire life. She knows her routine and goes in the on her own at night. She needs more exercise and with our busy schedule we are not able to provide that for her :(

Story
Introducing Salt, a charming 2-year-old Great Pyrenees and Lab mix who perfectly blends the lovable traits of both breeds. Weighing in as a big, sweet boy, he embodies the essence of a gentle giant. Salt’s calm and affectionate demeanor makes him not only a wonderful companion but also a source of comfort and joy for anyone lucky enough to share their life with him. Salt is incredibly sociable and does exceptionally well with children, making him a fantastic family pet. His patience and gentle nature mean he can handle the exuberance of young ones with grace. Additionally, he has a friendly disposition towards other animals; he gets along beautifully with both cats and dogs. This adaptability makes him an ideal candidate for a multi-pet household. One of Salt's standout qualities is his intelligence. He has already mastered house training, showcasing his eagerness to learn and please. This makes him an easier pet to manage, as he is well aware of household rules and routines. His playful spirit is complemented by a calm demeanor, making him equally happy to play fetch in the yard or snuggle up on the couch for a cozy movie night. Salt is not just looking for a home; he’s in search of a loving family to share his life with. He thrives on companionship and will undoubtedly bring warmth and happiness to his forever home. Story
Welcome Athena to CCPAL Rescue. She is a 2-year Great Pyrenees. She weighs about 90 pounds. She has a beautiful coat and the typical extra back toes commonly found in this breed. This is a guardian breed dog. They naturally will protect their flock or family. This breed will do best in a fully fenced yard as they will roam away if there is no fence. She is good with other dogs and will need some more leash work. She would be great with someone that knows the breed and loves it. She should have the natural tendencies of this breed. She had puppies and we adopted them out. We also adopted out the larger male that was found with her as a stray. She would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. She is up on her vaccines, healthy, spayed and ready for her forever home. She is currently in Texas anc can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpal.info/ See her cute video!!

In addition, as home life and rescue put the needs of our rescue dogs first, we regret that we were not able to get back to you. ***LIGHT GOLD IN COLOR***NEUTERED ***CHIPPED***FULLY VETTED ***GREAT WITH KIDS ***GREAT WITH OTHER DOGS ***LEASH, HOUSE AND COMMAND TRAINED Our German shepherd rescue is extremely proud to present for adoption the sweetest dog on the planet! Our guy's name is Charlie and he is absolutely remarkable. This boy is probably a German shepherd/Anatolian shepherd mix, he just turned 4, is a beautiful light gold in color, weighs in at a skinny 75 pounds which should be closer to 90 pounds and can stand on the ground and stick his nose in your ear. Charlie is simply amazing, he loves children, he loves other dogs, he loves car rides, he loves to play, he is perfect in your house, be bonds very strongly (Velcro dog), will try his best to sleep with you and in the end, he is a highly controlled protector. Charlie came to us from a very unfortunate situation where he was an inside dog with a young family with young children. Apparently one of the children developed an allergy at which point he is delegated to the outside where he promptly went from 90 plus pounds to 65 pounds at which point we took him into our rescue. I have been working with German shepherds, golden retrievers for over 50 years and I can 100% guarantee this boy is as level, intelligent, intuitive, and gracious and committed as they come. Our boy handled our socialization and training programs with ease, reflecting high intelligence, solid predictable personality, very strong desire to train, high focus, strong desire to bond and an intense desire to bond. In my opinion, as Charlie’s trainer, this young man is as sweet, open loving and predictable as they come! If your family is looking for the ultimate new family member do no not miss out on Charlie, all you have add is love and COMMITMENT.
