Meet Miss Bella. Her birthday is 12/22/2020. She is a loving mix breed that is looking for a home where she can get lots of love and attention. She was raised by a senior couple in their eighties that could no longer take care of her. She was an in -home puppy that had been sadly been moved to a small fenced in yard and kept on a lead. She loves the outside, but would love nothing more but to be inside with her new owners all the time. She will need to have a fenced in yard to keep her safe. She is newly introduced to cats with no issues to date. Bella would love another big sibling to play with. Bella knows her commands to sit, and shake. She is great with kids as well. My name is Harley and it comes from the Old English origin meaning 'Hare Meadow', which represents a peaceful and serene image. Just nothing like seeing a Pyr laying in the yard watching! Unfortunately my elderly owner is not able to care for me any longer but I'm trying not to let it get me down as I look for another family to adopt. Did you know that I came from royalty? The Pyrenees breed came from France where we made our way up from being a peasant farmers dog to the royal court being named the royal dog of France in 1675. Even Queen Victoria had a Pyr. We are strong willed and can sometimes be stubborn but more importantly we are affectionate, patient, confident, fearless and gentle. It is said that we wouldn't make a good breed for first timers but if you're aware of the negative traits (sometimes stubborn & lots of hair) along with the awesome good traits, we could definitely make it work. As a youngster at only around a year and a half old, I do have some basic obedience training, am well mannered, I don't jump up unless invited and have a sweet, loving warm nature that just adores getting 'good boys' from my people. I am a big boy of snowy white fluff. I will need several weekly brushings to keep my royal self tangle free and looking dapper and the vacuum will be an extension of your arm with me around but the reward of my adoring love for you will sooooo be worth it!! A couple of daily 45 minute walks a day should be enough to keep me happy. With that daily exercise in I can do quite well in town with a yard or in the country. I fall into the 3 G category which is Gorgeous, Gentle and Giant. Instinctively nurturing with the flock or family, we do make great family members. Just make sure the couch is big enough for sharing!!! My breed tend to love being with the family and are content to lay at or on your feet or curled up with you on that big enough couch. I'm here to adopt me a family and since you're reading this you must being missing something special in your life too, could it possibly be...ME?!!

My name is Gordie and I didn't come from the best situation. I was very malnourished and still need some extra groceries to be at my ideal weight. As a result I can be somewhat food aggressive with my meals. It would be best to work on this with me but to also feed me separately. With those extra nutrients my coat will be gorgeous in no time! I'm only around 10 months of age, so still very much a youngster yet. With my start in this life I'm sure looking forward to a fresh start with a family that will love me and make me feel safe. Hey there, I'm Banzai, a 3 year old Great Pyrenese with a heart of gold. I'm a friendly and gentle boy but I have not had any experience in an indoor home. I'd like to try it out but I need someone patient to understand I need time to adjust. I also wouldn't mind staying outdoors with the proper set up. I have been around horses and do fine, but as for other livestock I'm not sure. Take me home and I'll show you love. Grits and determination!! That is the saying, right? To get anywhere you must have grits and determination?? Grits are good for you, ask any Southern mama :) You guessed it, my name is Grits and I have a LOT of determination! I came from the pound with HORRIFIC injuries related to a multiple dog attack :( And boy I was in pain and had horrible infections and was so so skinny and just sad... But the rescue peeps fixed me up! It took several weeks of LOVE, good nutrition, wound care and "heart repair" to return my zest for life and to see the glimmer of hope in my eyes... Now I am all fixed up, healthy and happy and READY for you!! Don't ever let me be out on the streets again, fighting off other dogs to live. Give me your COUCH, an air conditioner and lots of love and treats and I will be yours FUREVER!!! And speaking of fur, well, you know I am a Great Pyrenees and we SHED great amounts, so you must love me more than my hair!!!
