Hello there! I'm Piper, a bundle of joy and love. I'm super playful, always ready for a game of fetch or tug-of-war. I'm also super sweet, my kisses are legendary! I just love to shower everyone with affection. I adore dogs, we're all pals here, and kids? Oh, they're the best! Their laughter and energy match mine perfectly. I'm quite the social butterfly, you see. I've had a bit of a tough time, I was found not feeling my best, a little under the weather and thirsty. But the kind folks here helped me bounce back and now I'm as lively as ever! I promise to fill your home with love, laughter, and lots of kisses. If pre-approved, you have first priority & can usually take home your new best friend the same day! *Please note that there is no obligation to adopt by completing an application.* **All dogs are required to have complete vet services, including shots, rabies, spay/neuter and microchip, which are included in the Adoption Fee. Some dogs may still require completion of these services due to current age, size, breed and/or health. All vet services must be done at the vet clinic used by Once Upon a Tail Rescue.

I adopted Koda from his previous owner at 6/7 months old, they keep him in an outdoor kennel. He was extremely underfed and dehydrated. She got him from an accidental litter from a lady with two great pyrenees. Koda is a lovable, loyal and goofy dog who loves his people. He loves toys and naps. He is true to the breed and a natural protector. He went to obedience training to help with his nervousness. Koda loves to train and have a 'job'. He is a good leash walker and gets along well with other animals. I would prefer he go to a only pet home, due to him not liking to share food with other dogs or cats. Although he is not trained with livestock, he would be a fantastic companion and pet. I would consider more than one pet home if the owner is experienced with this breed and these behavior concerns.
