Story
Max was born on 3/16/23. He is a Great Pyrenees mix and weighs 134lbs. He is neutered and up to date on shots. Max needs room to roam! Loves to be outdoors and playing with other dogs. This may include some wrestling and zooming together. Max loves his people and craves attention. He wants to be with his humans at all times. He is still learning independence and doing things on his own. Max loves his neighborhood walks and was not reactive to dogs who barked and lunged at him. Max has lots of love to give and enjoys affection. His ideal family will provide the training he needs and will be comfortable and capable of handling his size and weight. Bonus points for previous Great Pyrenees experience. Please Note: We review veterinary care for applicants. This includes regular well visits, core vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm, and tickborne tests, as well as regular monthly heartworm prevention and flea/tick prevention. Please contact your veterinarian’s office to give them permission to speak to us before we call them. Applications are available at www.puppypawsrescue.org If your application meets our adoption criteria, we will contact you within 1 week. At that time, you will be contacted (usually by email) to schedule a phone interview and a virtual home visit (Facetime, Skype, etc). Due to the volume of applications, applications that do not move forward to an interview may not receive a reply within that time frame.

Story
This is Liu, he is an almost 4 yr old pure bred Great Pyrenees. He is a BIG ole boy, and very sweet. He does bark A LOT (as this breed is known for) I love him dearly, ashamed to be rehoming him but I know he deserves better than the limited resources I can offer him. A backstory, when we got him (Covid) we had plans of moving to a big property with a huge yard the only reason we even considered bringing a Great Pyrenees puppy into a 3 bedroom townhouse- because we thought for sure we would be gone within a year. Well, with surprise baby number 2 and the aftermath of COVID, we will not be moving anytime in the near future. We have gotten countless threatening letters from our home owners association about the barking and we just do not know what to do because I will not punish him for what he was bred to do. The bottom line is, he deserves more time, much more space & in order to be a responsible pet owner, as much as it pains me, I have to find him a better home than I can give him:(

Story
Yeti #9827 is a handsome 4-year-old male, Great Pyrenees mix. He is house and crate trained. He is a loyal, happy bouncy 80 -pound companion to 4 humans. He knows commands and obeys them as any self-minded, stubborn GP does! He is smarter than your average pup and is curious and resourceful. He is routine driven. Yeti enjoys watching over his surroundings and patrols his fenced in backyard; note that he is in an indoor dog. He enjoys car rides and going on walks. While Yeti lives with other dogs, his ideal home is one where he is the only male, a single dog, or with a nonconfrontation female. He is seeking a home with GP or large breed experience. Meet and greets are by appointment only with approved applicants. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out the online application: https://www.lastchanceanimalrescue.org/adoption-request-form/ If you have been approved within the past 6 months and are interested in Yeti, please reply to your approval email.
