Alvin is ready to bring some fun and excitement into your life! This 10-month-old Great Pyrenees, currently weighing about 60 pounds with more growing to do, simply cannot wait to meet you. Rescued as a stray from Windsor, South Carolina, Alvin has thrived under the care and love he received at Home for Good.
Alvin's personality is as big as his heart. He is fun-loving and always eager to lead the way into new adventures. Whether he's exploring, sniffing around, or meeting new people, Alvin's outgoing nature shines through. He loves to give hugs and isn't shy about placing his giant paws on you to get your attention.
Despite his size, the irony of this large boy being named after a chipmunk isn't lost on us. Alvin would thrive in a home with a fenced-in yard where he can run and play. He also enjoys walks around town, hiking trips, and relaxing in a cool, comfortable home. Alvin is great with dogs, cats, and kids who have experience with big dogs, making him the perfect addition to any family.
This entertaining and lovable guy would look even more charming in a red sweater with a big "A" on it during the winter months. Alvin is ready to bring a smile to your face every day and has already told the witch doctor that he's in love with you!

All of our dogs are rescued from kill shelters in SC + GA and once ready for adoption live in loving local NJ foster homes until they find forever families of their own. Our fosters begin basic training, housebreaking, and leash-walking skills to help pair you with the perfect pup for life!
