If you are searching for a great family pet who has the most soulful brown eyes, look no further! This gentle sweet girl is the answer and her name is Glory. Glory adores and worships kids and wants nothing more than to be near them. Her best days are spent running along side them, sitting under their chair and laying next to them as they play. She is mellow, laid back and loves being at home with her people. Glory is potty trained, knows “sit, wait, potty and go in” (come inside or go into a room). Currently, she does not use a crate, but would revert to it easily. She sleeps in a small room with a gate simply propped at the door. A harness is used when walking her and she needs to improve on not reacting to other dogs. Not one to play with toys much ( unless taunted by another dog to tug), she loves bones, treats and kongs. At times, Glory may try to leave the house without permission. Glory has lived in a house (and yard) with a variety of visiting dogs and a “ sister”. She has no experience with cats and the barking of small dogs makes her nervous. She should not be homed with small animals. My name is Yuki. I am a 90 lb, 2 year old Great Pyrenees. I was rescued off the streets and was happy to be saved. I was underweight, my ears were infected and I was pretty dirty! Now I am basically back to what I should be... clean for one, putting on some much needed weight and happy to be in a home. I live with other large dogs both male and female. I am playful and friendly. Given my breed, it is not abnormal for me to be a bit food protective (just with the other dogs). I like to romp in the yard and even play some fetch. I just started practicing my leash walking. When some cars get close and whizz by, I get a little nervous but overall, I am going to be a nice leisurely walking companion. I have been around children 8+ and do well with them. I like them! Cats - we have no idea. My family needs to have a few things for me to thrive. 1) A single family home 2) A fenced in yard 3) Pyr or guardian breed experience is a plus and 4) be home more than away! I am much happier when my humans are with me. When my current humans aren't, I do settle but if you are away all day... I might be sad. His favorite activities are making sure his people and home are safe, picking up litter on walks so you can discard it (cares about his environment!), and babysitting tennis balls. What he lacks in small-ness he makes up for in the puppy playfulness. He’s crate-trained, good on a leash with harness, and mostly house-trained (so close!). His foster home includes both cats and dogs and he prefers his kitty friends. Sam is a 3-year-old Great Pyrenees mix weighing 75 pounds. His coat is long and white, his attitude is mixed. By that we mean that he should probably be the only animal in the house. He's isn't doing well with other dogs right now, but we're going to watch to see if this continues. Otherwise he's an affectionate boy who loves touring the play yard and taking a good nap when he so desires! A great boy!
