Story
Got from a farm breeder as a companion to our aging black lab. She did ok with our other dogs and with the chickens being out. She got ahold of a baby chick and ate it and started to become very aggressive and overprotective when our other pups would come around, to the point of fighting them. She has never shown aggression towards any people in our house or that visit. She is very loving and loves attention but tends to get jealous when the other dogs are around.

BO IS READY TO GO HOME WITH YOU TODAY !!!Bo is a 3 1/2 years-old, fluffy, curly dude with the coolest Ranger Rick mask around his eyes. He is a real sweetie; always happy to see you in his kennel-collars easily and walks well on his leash. As a true leader, he is always looking behind him to make sure you are following him. He is eager to please!Bo does not get along with livestock, especially chickens, but he loves people! Bo is heartworm positive, which is treatable and is not contagious. Bo would love to have a fresh start with a family that is going to brush his beautiful coat and take him on walks. This handsome fella is sure to be the talk of the neighborhood! If you're interested in learning more about Bo, please reach out to our Volunteer Matchmakers at wcac.matchmaker@gmail.com with the subject line "Bo 239433." Bo is ready to go home today - he is up to date on vaccinations, flea/tick, and heartworm prevention, is microchipped, and is already neutered. If you have dogs or cats, we recommend slow introductions over time. If you have children in your home, we recommend supervision between animals and children at all times. Story
We are looking to rehome Bear (female, 3yo, not fixed, but up to date on vaccines and flea/tick prevention). We originally adopted her from a farm with 140 cattle and she’s happy with her big fenced back yard, and her pup friend Aries, and usually the sweetest girl to her humans, but she’s starting to get mouthy with our shepherd mix, and aggressive with other alpha pups that we pet sit. We worry for our 2 daughters (2 & 4) and don’t want something to happen to them, or another animal and they be scared for life. She does get crated at night and eats in there and does great (protection for her and other pups as she does resource guard - which we expected given her breed). We do have all her necessities to go with her. We ask a rehoming fee and a vet reference and experience with this breed specifically. We do think she’d do best with livestock again, but also allowed in the house to cuddle with her humans, and get head pets. She’s outside during the day and in at night.

Story
Snowflake is a gorgeous, somewhat-trained 8-year-old Great Pyrenees/Golden Retriever mix (mostly Great Pyrenees) who is 94 lbs with lots of love to give! She is a laid-back, affectionate companion, loving attention from anyone and as many belly rubs as you want to give! When she is home with you, she will spend most of her time laying near you. She has not expressed interest in toys, but is very well-mannered: she doesn’t chew anything and does not get on the furniture. She also loves going places – walking well on a leash and rides well in the car while you do your errands or head to a park. She also likes just laying in the back yard with her nose in the air, enjoying the scents of the day. Snowflake would thrive with older children, doesn’t mind cats but needs to be the “Queen of the House” without other canines. She will be happiest in a home where her people are home most of the time. If you are looking for an easy, sweet, loyal and loving companion, this is the girl for you! P.S. She is not crate-trained, but we have been slowly working on that.
