WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Harley - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! My name is Harley and it comes from the Old English origin meaning 'Hare Meadow', which represents a peaceful and serene image. Just nothing like seeing a Pyr laying in the yard watching! Unfortunately my elderly owner is not able to care for me any longer but I'm trying not to let it get me down as I look for another family to adopt. Did you know that I came from royalty? The Pyrenees breed came from France where we made our way up from being a peasant farmers dog to the royal court being named the royal dog of France in 1675. Even Queen Victoria had a Pyr. We are strong willed and can sometimes be stubborn but more importantly we are affectionate, patient, confident, fearless and gentle. It is said that we wouldn't make a good breed for first timers but if you're aware of the negative traits (sometimes stubborn & lots of hair) along with the awesome good traits, we could definitely make it work. As a youngster at only around a year and a half old, I do have some basic obedience training, am well mannered, I don't jump up unless invited and have a sweet, loving warm nature that just adores getting 'good boys' from my people. I am a big boy of snowy white fluff. I will need several weekly brushings to keep my royal self tangle free and looking dapper and the vacuum will be an extension of your arm with me around but the reward of my adoring love for you will sooooo be worth it!! A couple of daily 45 minute walks a day should be enough to keep me happy. With that daily exercise in I can do quite well in town with a yard or in the country. I fall into the 3 G category which is Gorgeous, Gentle and Giant. Instinctively nurturing with the flock or family, we do make great family members. Just make sure the couch is big enough for sharing!!! My breed tend to love being with the family and are content to lay at or on your feet or curled up with you on that big enough couch. I'm here to adopt me a family and since you're reading this you must being missing something special in your life too, could it possibly be...ME?!!

If you are interested in adopting him, we will bring him into Hay Dude to complete the adoption. Gordie - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! My name is Gordie and I didn't come from the best situation. I was very malnourished and still need some extra groceries to be at my ideal weight. As a result I can be somewhat food aggressive with my meals. It would be best to work on this with me but to also feed me separately. With those extra nutrients my coat will be gorgeous in no time! I'm only around 10 months of age, so still very much a youngster yet. With my start in this life I'm sure looking forward to a fresh start with a family that will love me and make me feel safe. I'm looking forward to just being able to be a pup and enjoy all there is in this big ole world. I do get along great with people but with my past, would probably do best in a home without children or with older kiddos. I also do good with other pups and would make a pawsome playmate for a 'sibling'. I'm a sweet boy with a heart of gold who would love to find my forever home. Could it be YOURS?!! You just need to fill out my adoption application found at haydudeequine.org

Grits and determination!! That is the saying, right? To get anywhere you must have grits and determination?? Grits are good for you, ask any Southern mama :) You guessed it, my name is Grits and I have a LOT of determination! I came from the pound with HORRIFIC injuries related to a multiple dog attack :( And boy I was in pain and had horrible infections and was so so skinny and just sad... But the rescue peeps fixed me up! It took several weeks of LOVE, good nutrition, wound care and "heart repair" to return my zest for life and to see the glimmer of hope in my eyes... Now I am all fixed up, healthy and happy and READY for you!! Don't ever let me be out on the streets again, fighting off other dogs to live. Give me your COUCH, an air conditioner and lots of love and treats and I will be yours FUREVER!!! And speaking of fur, well, you know I am a Great Pyrenees and we SHED great amounts, so you must love me more than my hair!!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area, $50 temporary fuel fee will be included)

So the rescue people named me Rascal, which is really not an accurate description of me!! I am SERIOUS :) I am not rascally, I am a pup but I am a good pup! I don't want to cause any drama in my new furever home, I PROMISE :) I have lived on the streets and I know that I don't ever want to be there again! I get my food/water/love/hope and plenty of fun in my rescue but I long for the same from a forever family. I don't think it is too much to ask, I mean look at my face my sweet and innocent face. It will show you that I am a wonderful boy whose "rascally" ways are far FAR behind me!! I am great with everyone, so hurry up and adopt me! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Elmer, like the glue, you ask?? WELL MAYBE!!! I am a GREAT Great Pyrenees boy who had a rough looking life before I was saved in the rain, with big wounds on my face and front chest and legs :( Looked to the rescuers like I had been in a fight... So here I am, LIVING THE HIGH LIFE!!!! I am in a foster home with AIR CONDITIONING!!! And my foster momma and her momma love on me and keep me fed and happy :) I, of course, had heartworms when I was found. HOWEVER, those pesky worms are currently dying off and I am feeling better every day without those parasites!!! I am a couch surfer, have you ever tried to surf a couch?? NOT EASY but here I am, killing it!! (not the couch, the surfing life :) I am a big boy, about 95-100# when full grown- but GENTLE GIANT thoroughly describes me. I am easy going and happy and loving. As a late in life neutered male, I like the female dogs better than other males, unless they are submissive. And I am crate/house/everything trained already so you don't have to worry about that! ADOPT ME, I have SO MANY redeeming qualities... WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR??? Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Scrappy is a beautiful Great Pyrenees with a fluffy white coat and smile on his face always. He's very gentle and loves to give kisses. His favorite thing to do is to gaze into your eyes and MAKE you pet and love on him :) He's good with dogs and good on the leash as well, he loves walks! Scrappy is still a young boy but as a Pyrenees he is not a high energy dog, so you can have the youth without the wildness of a lab or weimer :) He will lay on the couch with you, do all kinds of binge watching and all you will have to do is vacuum up his hair...daily.... cause he will shed :D Scrappy is currently heartworm positive and has completed his treatment!! So everyone get in line and hurry to apply for this guy, he will be your heart dog! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)
