Story
Here's what you need to know about me:I'm an active dog! I would love to go home with a family who can help me burn off energy with exercise, playtime, and outdoor adventures.I may jump and play rough. I don't mean to, I just get really excited when I play! It's recommended I meet any dogs or kids living in my new home before I'm adopted. I just want to make sure we all get along. Primary Color: Black Weight: 75 Age: 2yrs 0mths 0wks

Story
Josie is a beautiful, spayed, 4yo Golden Retriever-Great Pyrenees. She is very sweet and loving with her family and with people she knows and trusts. She’s got guardian instincts and likes keeping watch while at home. She is great on walks and is non-reactive towards other dogs; we just give space to others if they need to pass. Due to her Pyrenees breed instincts, she’s demonstrated some behavior issues and we will only feel comfortable rehoming her with someone who has experience with this breed and/or with some anxious-reactive tendencies. The ideal situation for Josie would be a home with fenced acreage where she could run & explore. Josie displays some trust issues and needs a permanent, consistent environment that provides the love and boundaries she needs. Ideally we could visit her at her new home, and we would even be happy to watch her if needed! Deep down she is a 100-lb lap dog who loves love!
