Story
Welcome Athena to CCPAL Rescue. She is a 2-year Great Pyrenees. She weighs about 90 pounds. She has a beautiful coat and the typical extra back toes commonly found in this breed. This is a guardian breed dog. They naturally will protect their flock or family. This breed will do best in a fully fenced yard as they will roam away if there is no fence. She is good with other dogs and will need some more leash work. She would be great with someone that knows the breed and loves it. She should have the natural tendencies of this breed. She had puppies and we adopted them out. We also adopted out the larger male that was found with her as a stray. She would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. She is up on her vaccines, healthy, spayed and ready for her forever home. She is currently in Texas anc can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpal.info/ See her cute video!!

Story
Hi, my name is Medli and I would love to meet you. I have been at the shelter since Jan 15, 2025. There’s no better place than cuddled up close to my human on the comfiest couch. I’m the kind of dog that enjoys an easy-going lifestyle. Movie marathons, binge-watching shows, designated nap times, and regular pets are some of my favorite activities to do with my people!

Story
Spots is currently in a foster home at a rescue in Oklahoma. We are looking for a home in a state where people treat their animals well. She has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport near one of the cities listed at the bottom. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, she will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. Spots is a female mixed breed, possibly Great Pyrenees and Springer Spaniel and she is around 1 year old. -Showed up at a woman's house as a stray -Very friendly but is hand shy. When you go to pet her head, she ducks out of the way. We assume she has dealt with someone who was not nice to her. She gladly lets you pet her back and shoulders and is better with having her head petted after a few minutes. -Her tail wags the entire time you are with her; she's a happy girl. -Walks well on a leash. -63 pounds at time of spay. -Gets along with other dogs -We think she would get along with kids. Can test her with cats upon request. -Video of Spots: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_RNNd2ToFjo Spots is spayed, vaccinated (Rabies, DHLPP, Bordetella), has been dewormed, a negative heartworm test (January 14th), and on monthly flea/tick/HW prevention. Health certificate and exam will be performed less than 10 days prior to transport. Adoption fee is $650 total, this is including all vetting above and $250 transport cost. If you are interested in adopting Spots, FILL THIS OUT FIRST: https://form.jotform.com/243134969050053. Then call/text 580-257-0622 or email luckypawsdoghouse@gmail.com if you'd like. If you aren't contacted within 48 hours after filling out online form, please contact us again. Cities that can be used for transport: New York-Buffalo, Rochester, Rye, Albany, Mohawk/Herkimer Illinois-Chicago, Springfield Wisconsin-Green Bay, Milwaukee, Madison, Wausau, Eau Claire, New London New Jersey-Trenton. Ridgefield, Sewaren Washington-Seattle, Tacoma, Bellingham, Kennewick, Edmonds Oregon-Portland, Springfield/Eugene Montana-Missoula Indiana-Michigan City, Spiceland (East of Indianapolis) Idaho-Boise Colorado-Denver Michigan-Battle Creek Ohio-Columbus, Cleveland, Cincinnati Connecticut-Enfield, Darien, Union Pennsylvania-Allentown, Pittsburgh Virginia-Haymarket (DC Metro) Minnesota-Minneapolis Wyoming-Cheyenne Maryland-Baltimore

Story
Meet Cinnamon! Cinnamon is planning to make her way down to WA from TX a in hopes of finding her forever home! Cinnamon's the sweetest 1 year old Great Pyrenees mix who loves belly rubs and ear scratches. She's crate and house-trained but prefers to sleep on the floor instead of in her crate. She plays well with other dogs and thinks her foster's 10 year old daughter's lap is the best seat in the house to watch movies! Cinnamon's favorite daytime spot is sitting or laying on the patio, overlooking the lawn and street behind our house. She would do best in a home with a big yard for running and playing and and active family with whom to enjoy it! Cinnamon has mastered the "sit" command and is working on "bed" (place) and "stay". She loves walks and is still learning leash manners. We absolutely LOVE this beautiful girl and know she will make the best furever friend for another

Story
Tobin and Mason had a rough start, spending the first seven months of their lives outside with minimal human interaction. When they first arrived at Pasado’s, they were understandably hesitant and unsure of the world around them. However, these two sweet boys have made incredible progress thanks to their love for other animals. Playing with confident, social dogs has helped them come out of their shells and become more comfortable in their new environment. The real turning point for Tobin and Mason came when they were introduced to our resident alpacas. These boys now love spending their days roaming the pasture, getting gently groomed by the alpacas, and even grazing grass together! Their bond with the alpacas has been truly heartwarming to witness.Tobin and Mason can be adopted together or separately, but they would thrive in a home where they can freely choose to spend their time indoors or outdoors and choose the amount of human contact they’re comfortable with. An ideal home would also have other animals, such as a friendly dog, to help them feel at ease and provide companionship. If you're looking for a pair (or a single) to enjoy a peaceful, nature-filled life with, Tobin and Mason could be the perfect match for you!
