Story
Meet Odie! There are many dogs out there looking for new homes and we have to say that Odie is one of the best. He didn't have the greatest life before coming to us and lived outside for most of it. He is now in a foster home and just loving life. He is 9 years old and 180 lbs of true love. Odie is gentle, kind, affectionate, loves all people and is great with other dogs. He needs to lose a bit of weight but he will always be a massive dog. We just adore him. He is in surprisingly good shape for an older large dog. His teeth need some work but we will take care of that for him. He will also be vaccinated and chipped. We want Odie to find his forever home where he will no longer languish outside for all the days but where he will be a much loved member of the family. He does need a bit of elbow room due to his huge size. We love this Polar Bear and we know you will too! Odie's adoption fee is $350 We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon! Santa is currently in a rescue in Oklahoma. We are looking for a home in a state where people treat their animals well. He has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport near one of the cities listed at the bottom. Santa is a male Great Pyrenees, possible purebred, and is 8-10 months old (March 23rd). At time of his neuter recently, he weighed 60 pounds. He has a lot of floof and will be a big boy! -Very friendly -Found as a stray -Likes other dogs -Walks well on a leash -Crate trained -Does not jump on you, is respectful -Think he would be good with children -Can be tested with cats upon request Video of Santa: https://youtube.com/shorts/f_JGwyGjNL8 Santa is neutered, vaccinated (Rabies, DHLPPx3, Bordetella), has been dewormed and a fecal test, a negative heartworm test, on monthly flea/tick/HW prevention. Story
Quick Facts  Name: Sangguen Age: 3 years old  Gender: Male Neutered/Spayed: Yes Breed: Great Pyrenees/Jindo Mix Color: White My PersonalityIntroducing Sanggeun, our lovable furry friend! This charming pup is a people-person through and through—ready to soak up all the pets and attention from anyone, including strangers! However, when it comes to little ones, sudden movements and loud noises can startle him a bit. If children are calm and gentle, he’s happy to hang out. Although he’s not a fan of being carried or lifted up, he’s a big fan of canine companions, especially smaller or similar-sized dogs. He’s a true protector, but only when needed—stepping up if other dogs are too rowdy or aggressive. Birds? Squirrels? They definitely catch his eye during walks, but with a bit of leash training, he’s working on his focus. Energy and ActivitiesIn terms of energy, he’s got the perfect balance—loving outdoor adventures but a total zen master indoors. While he might tug a little on walks, once he settles, he’s an excellent leash follower. Busy streets can be overwhelming, so quieter spots are more his style. Training and HabitsNo guarding resources from people, but he might issue a gentle growl if other dogs get too close. When it’s time to travel, he prefers a cozy crate in the car—helping ease those nerves and avoiding any car sickness. One thing’s for sure—he’s a potty pro outdoors only! Basic commands like sit, stay, paw, and eye contact? Nailed it! And did we mention he’s a sucker for ice cubes? Special NotesIf you’re ready to welcome this gentle giant into your heart and home, reach out to our team today to make him a part of your family! ##2260947##

Story
Welcome Athena to CCPAL Rescue. She is a 2-year Great Pyrenees. She weighs about 90 pounds. She has a beautiful coat and the typical extra back toes commonly found in this breed. This is a guardian breed dog. They naturally will protect their flock or family. This breed will do best in a fully fenced yard as they will roam away if there is no fence. She is good with other dogs and will need some more leash work. She would be great with someone that knows the breed and loves it. She should have the natural tendencies of this breed. She had puppies and we adopted them out. We also adopted out the larger male that was found with her as a stray. She would be fine with children. We like them to be 8 or older. She is up on her vaccines, healthy, spayed and ready for her forever home. She is currently in Texas anc can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpal.info/ See her cute video!!

Story
Welcome Sadie to CCPAL foster Program. Sadie is a 5-year-old Great Pyrenees and maybe Mastiff dog mix dog. She was gotten to be a livestock guardian and while she likes livestock, she does not feel the desire to guard. She is a house pet. She is what we call a couch potato. She does not get on the couch in her foster home, but she is laid back and very contented to lounge. She knows sit, doesn’t jump up, good with dogs, good with cats, good with kids, potty trained and ready for her forever home. She loves to sun herself outside and will dig a small spot to lay in. She would be good as an only dog or with other dogs. She is more of a companion animal over the outdoor and hiking type. She weighs about 70 pounds. She is vaccinated, spayed, heartworm negative and a joy to have around. She is being fostered in an environment that is loud, has lots of animals and new people all the time. She is very calm in this environment. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 if you have any questions. Please go to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com with questions. You can get an application online at www.ccpalrescue.org

Story
PLEASE DIRECT INQUIRIES ABOUT ADOPTABLE DOGS TO OUR FACEBOOK. WE ARE CURRENTLY UNABLE TO PROCESS APPLICATIONS VIA EMAIL DUE TO LIMITED STAFF. OUR CONTACT IS THROUGH FACEBOOK MESSENGER. https://www.facebook.com/REDRescueEveryDog/ Katya is a 1.5 year old (DOB 2021), spayed, Great Pyrenees (GP). GP dogs are a livestock guardian breed. Katya has been a very sweet girl in her current caregiver’s home and farm. She likes people she meets. Note: she has had no experience with young children. She lives with other dogs and, in that situation, is considered a lower member when it comes to pack dynamics. She has been good with horses and mule livestock. At this time, she is NOT free-range chicken approved. She has been easy to bathe and groom. When she doesn't like you brushing or something, she'll just gently take your hand in her mouth. That is a very normal GP reaction. Since she is a Great Pyrenees, she barks when outside and can hear, smell, or sense change or predators, as this is a livestock guardians’ job. Like all great Pyrenees, she will dig holes and has dug under fences. This is a thing for many GP. They are an amazing breed but require a bit higher-level dog skills and involvement that create kind pack leadership. Most dogs require a fenced yard. We seek fully fenced yards with a physical, visible fence. Typically, the fence must be connected to the house/ a door in the home, and the dog safe fenced area must exclude driveway and car access. Shock/electronic fences will not be approved for most dogs. A sturdy, high quality crate is also required (due to safety concerns, no wire or soft crates will be accepted. Impact, Ruffland, 4 point contact locking door Skyline, Zinger Winger, etc type crate). We will be considering homes in W. Wa and possibly Oregon, no other out of state adoptions at this time. Adoption donation is $450.00 to help cover his neuter, daily care, vetting, etc. THIS DOG IS IN FOSTER CARE IN POULSBO, WA. MEET AND GREETS WILL TAKE PLACE THERE AS WELL. REQUIREMENTS FOR ADOPTION: - Securely and visibly fenced yard - Sturdy/safe crate, due to the safety hazard wire crates will be not be accepted. Impact, Ruffland, 4 point contact locking door Skyline, Zinger Winger, etc type crate). - Western Washington (WA), and possibly Northern Oregon locations at caseworker discretion. No other out of state adoptions at this time. ADOPTION PROCESS: If you are interested in adoption please fill out an application here: http://www.rescueeverydog.org/Adoption.php Answers to the application MUST be sent via message on Facebook (we do not receive applications sent via email) 1. Once the application is received it will be reviewed by that animals caseworker. 2. If your application is seen as a good fit to the pet you are applying for we will request photos of your fenced yard as well as your current crate or the crate you plan on purchasing. 3.
