Story
PLEASE DIRECT INQUIRIES ABOUT ADOPTABLE DOGS TO OUR FACEBOOK. WE ARE CURRENTLY UNABLE TO PROCESS APPLICATIONS VIA EMAIL DUE TO LIMITED STAFF. OUR CONTACT IS THROUGH FACEBOOK MESSENGER. https://www.facebook.com/REDRescueEveryDog/ Katya is a 1.5 year old (DOB 2021), spayed, Great Pyrenees (GP). GP dogs are a livestock guardian breed. Katya has been a very sweet girl in her current caregiver’s home and farm. She likes people she meets. Note: she has had no experience with young children. She lives with other dogs and, in that situation, is considered a lower member when it comes to pack dynamics. She has been good with horses and mule livestock. At this time, she is NOT free-range chicken approved. She has been easy to bathe and groom. When she doesn't like you brushing or something, she'll just gently take your hand in her mouth. That is a very normal GP reaction. Since she is a Great Pyrenees, she barks when outside and can hear, smell, or sense change or predators, as this is a livestock guardians’ job. Like all great Pyrenees, she will dig holes and has dug under fences. This is a thing for many GP. They are an amazing breed but require a bit higher-level dog skills and involvement that create kind pack leadership. Most dogs require a fenced yard. We seek fully fenced yards with a physical, visible fence. Typically, the fence must be connected to the house/ a door in the home, and the dog safe fenced area must exclude driveway and car access. Shock/electronic fences will not be approved for most dogs. A sturdy, high quality crate is also required (due to safety concerns, no wire or soft crates will be accepted. Impact, Ruffland, 4 point contact locking door Skyline, Zinger Winger, etc type crate). We will be considering homes in W. Wa and possibly Oregon, no other out of state adoptions at this time. Adoption donation is $450.00 to help cover his neuter, daily care, vetting, etc. THIS DOG IS IN FOSTER CARE IN POULSBO, WA. MEET AND GREETS WILL TAKE PLACE THERE AS WELL. REQUIREMENTS FOR ADOPTION: - Securely and visibly fenced yard - Sturdy/safe crate, due to the safety hazard wire crates will be not be accepted. Impact, Ruffland, 4 point contact locking door Skyline, Zinger Winger, etc type crate). - Western Washington (WA), and possibly Northern Oregon locations at caseworker discretion. No other out of state adoptions at this time. ADOPTION PROCESS: If you are interested in adoption please fill out an application here: http://www.rescueeverydog.org/Adoption.php Answers to the application MUST be sent via message on Facebook (we do not receive applications sent via email) 1. Once the application is received it will be reviewed by that animals caseworker. 2. If your application is seen as a good fit to the pet you are applying for we will request photos of your fenced yard as well as your current crate or the crate you plan on purchasing. 3. Story
Alaska is a sweet girl who is around 6 years old. She loves meeting people and gets along well with other dogs and cats. We rescued her from a situation where she was chained up outside for most of her life. So we don’t have a lot of information about her past. She is a couch potato, and would love to spend her time napping or cuddling with her loved ones. She’s very calm and has never showed any signs of aggression. She rarely barks. She loves car rides, going on short walks, napping, and eating treats. Alaska gets anxious when left alone in the house all day, so a suitable home for her would be one where someone is available and not gone for long periods of time.

Has anyone NOT heard The Eagles song... "The Boys Are Back in Town"?? Cause we ARE the boys and we ARE back in town!!! This time we are in TOWN for ADOPTION!!! Oso and Grizz are a match made in heaven- however they do not have to be adopted together. They are brothers and obviously the SWEETEST boys on the PLANET.... :) These boys are reserved in the kennel / easy to leash and handle / need encouragement to walk on the leash sometimes / and are SO friendly and happy. Oso and Grizz are very submissive and will routinely flop onto their backs to show you their belly and solicit pets. They are large, young, floppy, and happy dogs - just wanting a yard to run around in and some sun to lay out it. And a SAFE place to call home! friends to play with!! Food and water available and LOVE LOVE LOVE! You will fall over when you meet one or both of them, they are special boys who deserve special home/s!! AdOPT DON'T SHOP!!!! THESE TWO ARE THE REASON WHY! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)

I have to live up to this name and believe me, I am trying!!! My rescue family has definitely left an impression with me... I was so sick, scared, injured, dirty, scared when the rescue pulled me from the pound.... and LOOK AT ME NOW!! I have white fur, smiling face, relaxed and happy eyes and an openness for the future!! Can't leave a better LEGACY than that! So, here i am looking to leave a LEGACY with your family :) I can teach you about rescue, and adoption. Giving a dog a second chance and COMMITTING to them ;) Look me up and please adopt me, I am SO READY!! I am only 3 yrs old and yet my teets were almost to my knees :( I was skinny and matted and SO SO SAD when I was pulled from the pound and was on the euthanasia list :( I have been with the rescue now for about a month and my life has taken a 180 degree turn! I am living with love and food and protection from the heat and fun friends to play with! I have a sweet sweet temperament and will make someone a PERFECT partner on this "journey we call life...."
