Story
Special needs guy with a wobbly walk! It doesn't seem to bother him. Hank was found in some bushes in TX, emaciated and wobbly, of course. He has put on some weight and has an appointment with the neurologist to see if we can get an understanding of the reason behind the wobbles. But the theory so far, is that he had parvo as a pup and that had a neurological effect. He is happy and snuggly and LOVES to be outside. He would love to have a farm to "work"...or at least pretend! He's very sweet and gentle and loves to be loved on!

Story
**Angel: A Gentle Soul with a Heart of Gold!**"Hello, wonderful humans! I'm Angel, and I'm ready to bring a touch of sweetness and a whole lot of love into your life. At one year old, I'm a beautiful Great Pyrenees mix (about 74%, they tell me!) with a gentle spirit and a heart that's just bursting with affection.I absolutely adore snuggling with my humans, and I have the best manners! I sit politely, offer a gentle paw for attention, and when I get really excited, I give the cutest little smile. I'm a laid-back kind of gal, a bit of a hippy chick, if you will, and I love spending time outdoors, especially on my foster family's little hobby farm.I get along great with kids, cats, and small dogs, though sometimes my puppy enthusiasm can be a bit much for the seniors! I'm a social butterfly and love making new friends, especially at doggy daycare! I enjoy having matching collar and leash sets, soft fuzzy bedding, chew toys, and stuffies of all sizes – I believe every dog deserves the finer things in life!I walk well on a leash, though I'm still working on my manners and sometimes get a little excited. And I'm proud to say I'm potty trained! I was adopted as a puppy, but my family had to move to an apartment, which wasn't the right fit for me. I'm looking for a loving home with a yard and humans who have the time to give me the exercise and attention I need.I’m a playful girl and love other dogs that share my play style. I get along wonderfully with my 34-pound foster sibling. I’ve been enjoying my time in doggy daycare and love to play. Now, I do have a bit of a wiggle in my step sometimes, and the vet has noted a mild hip dysplasia and luxating patella. We're keeping a close eye on it, and I'll be going back for a re-check soon to make sure everything's still looking good. While I generally love to play and move, I do favor my leg at times, and it's possible I might need surgery in the future. To make sure I'm in tip-top shape, I'm up to date on my vaccinations, spayed, microchipped, and have had my Bordetella shot. My adoption fee is $500.**A Note to Potential Adopters:**"All adopters must be prepared to provide a loving and supportive home, including ongoing training, appropriate exercise, and continued veterinary care."**To apply to adopt Angel, please scamper on over to www.biggiepawsrescue.org and fill out an application! I'm waiting with paws crossed!**P.S. I'm a sweet and gentle soul, and I can't wait to find my forever family!"DATCP # 494550

Story
Meet Snow! Age: young Weight: 90 pounds Good with: Dogs and cats (I haven't been around any kids yet, but I could do well with older, more respectful kiddos) House trained: yes Crate trained: I'm not really a fan of crates, but I'm a good girl, so I don't need one. Special needs: I recently had knee surgery on my left knee, but luckily my right knee didn't need surgery. I will just need my forever family to continue to monitor my knees to make sure they are A-ok! Because my breed tends to be strong and stubborn, Guardian Breed experience is preferred. I will also need a fenced yard. I'm a beautiful young gal who turns heads wherever I go! Everyone tells me how pretty I am and I know it. My fur is literally as white as snow! I love going for walks, so a family who will take me on walks would be wonderful. I probably shouldn't live in an apartment because sometimes I use my voice, and given my size, it can be a big voice. Plus, I can be protective of my house from time to time, but I'm young and if someone commits to working on me with that, I'll learn that visitors are always okay if my family says so and invites them in. Once I know people, I love them. All 90 pounds of me! But I like my space too, so if I need my alone time, I'll let you know with a little grumble to let you know "not right now". I'm a great car rider, and I'll never be too big to wear clothes, and I'm nice to fur-friends, too! I'm hoping my forever family is out there to let me love them and love me in return! Hopefully that's you! *Snow is being fostered in Lake Geneva, WI. Albert's Dog Lounge is a specialty rescue focusing primarily on senior and special needs dogs. Story
Looking for a loyal companion with personality plus? Sherlock is your guy! This clever pup may have started life solving mysteries on his own, but now his greatest investigation is finding his forever home. Sherlock is a character with a silly, goofy, rule-bending personality. His favorite way to show affection? A good game of fetch! In fact, if you want to win this detective's heart, just bring a tennis ball to your meet-and-greet. The perfect partner for Sherlock will understand his unique needs. He is protective by nature, and his ideal home would be an adult-only household that can provide structure and consistency. Sherlock is very wary of strangers and it takes him some time to warm up to new people. But once you're in his inner circle, you'll discover a deeply affectionate and sweet soul who will bring endless joy to your life. He's currently working with trainers to polish his good-boy skills and is excited to show them off to the right family. Sherlock is dog-selective – he prefers dogs that are more playful and relaxed. He doesn’t get along with cats, however, and prefers to keep his investigations feline-free. Ready to be the Watson to this Sherlock? Contact us to learn more about this special boy!
