Story
UPDATE FROM FOSTER 6/24/24 - Brisa is a beautiful soul, she is gentle and extremely low maintenance. She is settling in wonderfully with a busy household of 5 dogs, 2 cats and farm animals. She has only been in BC about a week so she is still decompressing, she is only taken outside on a lead as we feel like she will bolt if she becomes afraid, she is learning some leash manners quickly. She is fully potty trained even when left alone for a few hours, is not destructive and we have yet to hear a noise from her even when the other dogs are barking. She is very shy and has a difficult time being taken to new areas, which is understandable since she has not fully decompressed from her journey to Canada. Brisa is a lovely girl who is going to be a pefect sit and chill dog and a great lets go for a walk girl! With a beautiful Spanish name meaning "breeze", Brisa seems to breeze through life in a positive and loving way. Saved with her brothers and sisters, her rescuer has take on the responsibility of raising them all to ensure they become healthy, social and loving family members. Brisa is now about 1 year old and fully grown at 40lbs. Brisa will be a great companion for walking, snuggling and being your perfect fur friend! Brisa was in Chapala, Mexico, and is now local to BC (Fraser Valley)! She is looking for a foster or adopter when she arrives. VETTING: Fully vaccinated. Spayed Dewormed. SNAP 4Dx negative (Heartworm, Lyme disease, Ehrlichia, and Anaplasma). Flea/tick/heartworm prevention. No known medical issues or injuries. PLEASE NOTE: Brisa is currently in Mexico. There will be a $235 fee for transportation to BC. This will be discussed upon approval. ##2063847##
