Story
Holly is a very sweet girl who loves to love. She is about 6 years old. We adopted her in 2019. She has a lot of energy and her favorite way to get it out is by chasing the hose or playing in the sprinkler. She hates any sort of confinement but has proven that she can be trusted without a crate and is very calm at home alone without one. As long as she has somewhere comfy to nap, she’s good! We are looking to re-home her for a few reasons. One, my husband just is not a dog person. Two, we are expecting baby number 2 and we currently live in a small home. We just do not have the time, space, or the mental capacity for a dog right now. Although she is very playful, she has definitely calmed down and become very obedient over the years as well.

Flo is a stunningly gorgeous light to dark brindle girl. One look at her, and you will see what we mean. But Flo isn’t one to just stand around looking pretty, she is playful, active, and confident. She is as solid and sturdy as they come and full of fun to boot! Affectionate and happy, Flo loves people and running after toys. She will be a barrel of fun at home with her forever family! Kathani is a gorgeous, curious, and intelligent girl. She is friendly and sweet and was born to be a family pet. Kathani is a bit of a nosy girl! She always likes to know the gossip and what’s going on. If you introduce her to a new environment, she’ll have a good sniff around and investigation before making any final conclusions! Kathani likes to make deep connections with her humans and so she can be a little wary of strangers at first before she fully opens up. Once she knows you, though, she’ll be your best friend for life and expect love and affection on the regular! Kathani can sometimes also have a concerned or worried look about her, but don’t let it fool you; she quickly relaxes and comes looking for her cuddles! Kathani was not cut out for the racing life, she’s too calm and cool to be running around all the time. She prefers a nice gentle walk on the leash (which she is very good at) and time to stop and chat with any canine friends she might meet along the way. Kathani is very good with small dogs -- after a quick hello she’ll happily move along, not a care in the world besides being with her human. Kathani is not overly concerned with playing or running around and so could potentially suit an apartment, or smaller space living. As long as she’s getting her daily quota of TLC, Kathani is too cool to be concerned!Kathani is a beautiful girl, inside and out. She was just custom made to become part of a loving family. Poppy is a lovely, sweet and affectionate girl who was just born to be a pet. She is super calm and chill, leaving a positive impact wherever she goes! Poppy is already on her way to becoming a fantastic pet -- she is gentleand quiet, walks very well on the leash and travels well in the car. She is also a very social girl with humans and dogs alike. She’s great at posing for pictures for her humans and if you’re lucky, she’ll stick out her tongue to blow you a little kiss! Poppy has met with other greyhounds as well as smaller dog breeds and has gotten along excellently. She doesn’t get overly excited and is just happy to have a new friend! Poppy is very relaxed and laid-back, and not much fazes her. Her cool and calm nature means that she would likely do very well withapartment living or spending a lot of time indoors. So long as Poppy gets her love and affection, she’ll be a great fit anywhere! Poppy is a sweet, beautiful dog both inside and out. She would make a wonderful addition to any home with a positive, relaxed and loving outlook on life! Available for adoption through Greyhounds Only, Inc., Adoption and Rescue. Sonny is a cool, laid-back guy with a lovely, quiet temperament. Sonny may be cool, calm and collected but it doesn’t stop him from being social and friendly with people and dogs alike! Sonny has a fondness for smaller dogs, having spent time with a Jack Russell, however, despite his love of the little guys, Sonny does not like cats unfortunately! Sonny has spent time with young children and was great with them and would suit a house with children of about 5 years plus. Sonny loves to go for walks and tends to get excited for them! He can also be a little strong on leash when walking and would need an owner who could handle his strength. Apart from his excitement for walks, Sonny is an all-round very quiet dog and is very good in his kennels. Sonny is a lovely, loyal dog ready to become your new best friendand the heart of your home!
