Story
Location: St Paul, MN This pretty girl is Lucy. Lucy came to rescue with her 3 siblings. Lucy loves to follow her foster mom all over the farm and try to help with chores. She thinks the cats are puppies and tries to play but they don't play back. Lucy is still learning to potty outside. We are working on learning to sit for treats. Lucy loves to sit under your chair outside where it's nice and shady. Will you be my furever best friend? --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.

Story
SE Thor's Hammer, R71B, L75002Hi. I’m Thor. I’m not quite the god of thunder that I’m named after, in fact I’m a sweet and submissive boy. I love walks and think they're awesome! I might secretly love people too, but I'm a little shy at first but curious. I like to come to people when I'm ready and enjoy getting pets. I love having my own space in the house, and as long as I have a refuge and squeaky stuffy toys, I tolerate a lot of activity going on in the house. I get along with dogs the best, calm children are my next favorite, then adults. Anyone noisy or fast, I'll most likely choose to go up to last. I would rather not be kenneled and be an only dog. I really look to other dogs for reassurance and do fine as long as I have a dog buddy to hang with. I also really don't like stairs and so far, no amount of bribery and FOMO has tempted me enough to give them a go. My foster mom will continue to encourage me to give them a try. My new foster mom also says that I have opened up so much in just the two weeks that she's been with me and that it will be amazing to see how much braver I will get once I'm with my forever family. Could you be that forever family?  To see other hounds currently in our care please visit the Hounds in Our Care page on our website. Story
Billy, L VLFCMI love to be any place that my humans are, even if that means I am absolutely underfoot. I have a gentle, derpy disposition, I do have a tendency to be a leaner with the most adorable floppy ears. Scratch me all day, and when you stop, I'll paw at you for more. I am social and sweet. Everyone who has met me knows that I am friendly and I like to walk around the house at random with a toy in my mouth. You may even catch me walking around with the soft, squishy floor mat from the bathroom floor. I am also a bit of a hopsy-flopsy dude, so don't be too surprised if I try to jump up and give you a hug after I just met you. There is too much love and excitement in my heart! I've gotten along with every dog that I've met, but I haven't met any kids so while they seem exciting from a distance, I might be just as likely to try to play as knock them over with my enthusiasm! I'm fairly good in the kennel, but I would really prefer to be where the action is. I need more obedience to learn about where it's ok to put my paws, and I would really appreciate a yard so I can stretch out and chase squirrels.  To see other hounds currently in our care please visit the Hounds in Our Care page on our website. Story
Rick, L VLCDYHi, my name is Rick! I love ear rubs, snuggles, following my foster parents around (especially in the kitchen), following my foster hound sister, playing with her in the dog run, and chewing on things. I have a sweet laid-back attitude, a fluffy coat, and love to lean on you. I am friendly, a toy and shoe collector, a young boy trying to learn what to do. I get along with all dogs, people and kids, but maybe not rabbits! I would rather not be alone, be locked in places and I need some help learning not to take & chew on things (especially paper & shoes). Personality Traits: laid back, social, cuddly, playful, velcro dog, submissive, goofy To see other hounds currently in our care please visit the Hounds in Our Care page on our website. Story
Sharni, L VKFURHi! I'm Sharni. I love being around people, giving hugs and kisses, cuddles and scratches, meal time, walks, keeping an eye out for bunnies and squirrels in the neighborhood, and sleeping on my back with my legs in the air. I have a desire to follow you around and am interested in what you're doing, a puppy spirit, soulful loving eyes, and a tendency to slobber. I am very friendly, curious, determined, and sometimes like to jump on guests when they arrive. I get along with all people I've met so far (haven't tried kids yet). I get along with all dogs once I get settled into the pack but may be overly attentive toward small dogs at first and like to have my own space during meal times. I would rather not you leave me - I have some separation anxiety but will settle down in my kennel eventually after you leave and I would rather not poop with you watching (possibly including when I'm on leash), and would rather not be kenneled at night. I need reinforcement of the rules and solid boundaries and things that I'm allowed to chew on and move around (i.e. toys). Personality Traits: social, cuddly, playful, velcro dog, dominant, energetic To see other hounds currently in our care please visit the Hounds in Our Care page on our website. Story
Oakland Stance, R 59D, L 73587I love sleeping, napping, and dozing off. When I'm not finding the ideal spot in the apartment to rest I like taking walks and going on car rides with my people. I have a gentle personality, I only bark in my sleep and prefer to hide rather than confront anything weird/scary/new. I am shy around new people and take a little bit to warm up to new surroundings. But once I'm comfortable I become more confident and show my secret goofy side. I like to know when things are gonna happen and will poke you until you remember when bedtime is! I get along with everyone I've met so far, no cats yet though so who can say. I would rather not be alone, I don't show it but I do miss my people when they're gone. I need my own space, especially if there are other dogs around. A girl needs her beauty sleep. To see other hounds currently in our care please visit the Hounds in Our Care page on our website. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Hi, meet Stacy! Stacy is an incredibly friendly and playful companion, getting along splendidly with both humans and pets. While she does have a bit of a prey drive when the cats start running, she merely paws or sniffs them once she catches up. In the house, she mostly ignores the cats, demonstrating her easygoing nature. However, Stacy's interest in free-range chickens, squirrels, and rabbits suggests she might chase them if not contained by a fence or leash. Potty training is a work in progress, but she's showing improvement. I believe she'd master it quickly if she were the only pet still learning the ropes. Stacy's high energy level means she loves to play, but she also cherishes snuggling with a human or a furry friend during her rest time. She's very social and always wants to be in the middle of the action. Like all puppies, Stacy has a penchant for chewing, often targeting kids' toys and socks. It's typical puppy behavior, and with continued training she'll learn what is appropriate for chewing on. Stacy truly is a sweetheart. She'd thrive best in an active family with children and another dog to play with, ensuring she gets all the love and activity she craves. Stacy is from Texas.  If you are interested in getting to know this animal better, please fill out an adoption application. An adoption application is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract.
