You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. ARRIVING at Give a Dog a Home Rescue in Sebec, Maine on 29th January 2025, but you can still apply to adopt! BINKY was saved and cared for by Muscat Dog Adoption, before sending him with other saved dogs to Give a Dog a Home Rescue in Sebec, Maine. They arrived in the US on 28th January 2025 and were transported to the rescue where they are settling in. BINKY was cleared by the US canine center for diseases upon entry into the US. He is neutered, rabies, core vaccines, heartworm and tick tested negative, is on monthly preventatives, microchipped, weighs around 43 pounds and has an estimated date of birth or 7 April 2022. Stray dogs in Oman are referred to as "Wadi Dogs" and are a mix of the popular sighthound breeds, specifically thought to be descendents of the majestic Saluki and other smaller breeds, many resembling whippets with their small agile frames. If not saved these dogs are often shot or brutally ran over and left for dead. We are looking for families that have the lifestyle that the dog needs to lead a healthy, both mentally and physically life, who can afford a GOOD quality food, toys and treats and understand the importance of veterinary wellness checks. BINKY is available for adoption for an adoption fee of $550, as noted he is located at the rescue in Sebec, Maine and families are required to complete and submit an  adoption application and when approved schedule an appointment to come to the rescue to meet and hopefully take home this sweet boy. Applications are processed with 24 hours of them being received. Tommy is a large male greyhound from Australia with a beautiful grey and tan brindle coat. He is a confident and friendly dog that loves everyone he meets. He enjoys going on daily walks and has good leash manners. He also does well with other medium to large dogs but does not require to be homed with another dog. Tommy has a playful side and has the time of his life when he gets to play with his favorite squeaky toys. He is also very curious about the world around him and wants to go on plenty of adventures with his future adopter. Laila is a cute little 5 year old greyhound who recently arrived to us from China. She is a tiny little girl who is not much bigger than a whippet. Laila is simply one of the sweetest and most loving dogs out there. She loves nothing more than taking naps on a soft bed and getting plenty of belly rubs. She also loves going on walks and and playing with her dog friends. Laila is also cat tolerant and could live with a cat. Meet Mars, a 5 year old greyhound and a recent arrival from China. Weighing in at just under 50 pounds he is very smell for a greyhound. Mars is a gentle and sweet dog that wants nothing more than a calm loving home to call his own. His favorite actives are playing with his toys and getting plenty of pets. Mars has fantastic leash manners and enjoys going on his daily walks. He does well with other dogs but he can be very vocal when playing which can overwhelm some of his friends.
