Story
Meet Rindle the sweet but shy brindle boy. Rindle is a 4 year old greyhound mix. He weighs approximately 80lbs and is in good health. Rindle is housebroken and has very good house manners. He knows all his commands and walks well on a leash. Rindle is a true greyhound where he likes to spend his day on the couch or doing zoomies in the yard. Rindle loves his walks and gets super excited while getting ready but immediately settles down when we get outside. He loves his foster family and his foster fur brother but he needs time to warm up to new people and dogs. Rindle does have the greyhound prey instinct and is always on backyard bunny patrol. Due to the prey instinct cats and small dogs are not a good fit and he is not used to small children so it is recommended a family with older children or young adults. Rindle is looking for a family who will be super patient and let him open up to them and accept them into his pack. He is protective of his foster family but has learned to socialize with other people at daycare. Rindle has been so fun to train and is so smart and ready to learn more. If you live in Canada within 3 hours of Toronto and would like to meet Randal and learn more about him and our foster to adopt program, please email our rescue at c4ptoronto@gmail.com.

Story
URAN NEEDS A FOSTER OR AN ADOPTER! HE IS CURRENTLY IN MEXICO AND WILL BE ARRIVING THE FIRST WEEK OF SEPTEMBER BUT HE NEEDS A FOSTER OR ADOPTER. We at All Paws Matter believe in the benefits of post-adoption training for our dogs and their families. This allows for continued socialization, learning and helps to create a well-mannered and balanced dog. This is now a requirement in our adoption process. Proof of training classes for puppies specifically is required before adoption. NAME: URAN Age: 3 years Breed: Mexi-Mix Sex: Male Weight: 25+ kg Location: MEXICO (Everything, including transport is included in adoption fee) Adoption fee: $600.00 Spayed/Neutered: Yes Leash trained: Work in progress House trained: Yes Kids/Cats/Dogs: Yes, good with dogs, no cats, children 8+ Vetting: Up to date on all vaccination, sterilized, microchipped, 4dx tested: negative for Heart worm. Currently on flea/tick/heart worm prevention, dewormed and vet checked before arriving. Medical Issues: Does require sun screen on his scar when out. Needs a coat when playing with dogs Comes with 4 weeks free pet insurance (after initial vet visit) Sweet and lovely Uran was wandering the streets of Mexico looking for food. He kept going to a specific building where there was a dumpster, the owners of the home didn’t take too kindly to him being there and decided to throw boiling water on him from the first floor. He received massive burns and was crying and trying to walk to safety. Nearby neighbours saw and heard him and brought him to the shelter where he had to go through months of healing and rehab. We cannot imagine the pain he went through. He is a sweet, energetic boy who is fully crate trained and we believe, house trained since he does not soil in the shelter. He is an energetic boy who would love a home with an adopter/foster who will walk, run, and take him on fun adventures. His ideal home would have a fenced in yard or an apartment/condo where he could get the exercise he requires. He is fine with calm dogs but he must wear a coat when playing actively, and must wear sunscreen on his scar when he is outdoors. Respectful children 8+ and definitely no cats. Uran finally deserves a home of his own with a family that will love him and give him everything he wants. He has been in the shelter too long. If you feel you would be the right fit for Uran, please fill out an adoption application at https://www.allpawsmatter.ca/apply-to-adopt/ All APM dogs are UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, spayed or neutered, dewormed, Heart worm (4dx snap) tested and arrive with a health certificate. They come to adopter with a harness, a collar and two leashes for safety. NOTE: The above description is relevant to this dog in its current and previous setting. Home changes and adopter personalities can bring out different behaviours not previously seen. We also do not claim or suggest that our dogs are hypo-allergenic or that they shed/do not shed. BREED DISCLAIMER: We are never sure of the breed of our dogs since they arrive off the streets or shelters. It is a guess only!
