Paisley is a wonderful young girl looking for a loving and lasting forever home. She was adopted previously but then found as a stray. Her adoptive owner did not care for her or want her back when she was found. While out on her own, we believe that Paisley had a run in with another stray cat with feline AIDS (feline FIV). When Paisley came back into our care, she tested positive for FIV. Paisley is approximately 2 years old with a petite frame. In fact, her rescuer thought she might be a kitten but the vet estimated her age as 2 years old. Paisley is very sweet with a friendly demeanor and is very affectionate and talkative. She likes to “head bump” a lot and rub up against your legs. She enjoys being petted and purrs when she eats. She also kneads frequently when you love on her. Please don’t let Paisley’s FIV status deter you. Cats with FIV can live normal, health lives just like other cats. Paisley is currently doing great now that she is in a caring foster home. She should not be in a home with other non-FIV cats but can be with other cats with FIV. Paisley wants nothing more than to be loved and have a good home. We know the home that Paisley finds will be just as grateful to have her as Paisley will be to live there. All cats are vaccinated, dewormed, treated with flea preventative, microchipped, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Approx DOB: August 2016 Katie was rescued as a small kitten from being outdoors on her own. She has lots of energy and loves to play. She will happily play with wands toys or bouncing types of toys with her family but is also very good at entertaining herself. She likes to be with people and, once acclimated, will happily follow her family around the house and curl up on the couch while they watch TV. Katie is scared of new situations or new people and takes some time to get used to these changes. Katie needs someone who will patiently remind her of good behaviors and help her get acclimated to her new home. The investment in this little beauty is worth it! Approx DOB: September 2018 Toni is a loving and sweet girl who enjoys the simple things in life. She loves nothing more than playing and then spending time gazing out windows at the outside world. Toni would prefer another cat friend to play with her. She also gets along with quiet dogs – she prefers to just watch them from the staircase. Toni is often the first one in bed at night and will keep you company while you fall asleep. She won’t stay there though but will come back in the morning. Toni has the softest fur and loves being petted. She would also prefer a home without small children.
