Story
Turtle is a sweet husky mix looking for a home that provides lots of cuddles. Turtle is roughly three years old, and was adopted after being found on the side of the road all by herself. She is house trained, leash trained, knows basic commands, and loves snuggles. Turtle's only obstacle is separation anxiety. With training and anti-anxiety medication, Turtle has made great strides. She needs a loving owner who has a lifestyle that is conducive to owning a pet with separation anxiety. That could mean someone who works from home or is retired, someone who is willing to hire a dog sitter or drop her off at daycare to limit her time alone, or someone who is active and takes her on runs. Turtle lives for her daily walks and belly rubs, and loves giving kisses. She is a gentle pup, but incredibly athletic when let off her leash at the park. With dedication, the right medication and patience, Turtle is an amazing pup.

Story
MissyFemaleAge: 2-3 yearsWeight: 48 lbsBreed: Corgi/Terrier mix Hi! I’m Missy! I am a fiercely loving and loyal girl who gets along great with kids as well as cats and other dogs as long as the other dogs are ok with me taking charge and being the leader. I do need slow intros when meeting new people and dogs, so I can learn that they just want to be my friend. Once I meet you, give me a few minutes and I’ll be your best friend.  I absolutely love my person and am always alert and ready to protect you. I may have three legs, but this in no way slows me down. I am ready to go anywhere and do anything with my person, anytime. I am house trained and crate trained and am learning to walk well on a leash. In my spare time, I do love chasing the squirrels and laying in the grass and really spending as much time in the sunshine as I can in my fenced in back yard. I enjoy a good belly rub and cuddles on the couch with my humans. I pretty much enjoy all the attention and affection I can get. I am extremely smart and will require a home that will continue working with me as I learn new skills and work on perfecting current ones. I would excel in a home where I can get daily mental and physical stimulation so my funny personality can shine through. I cannot wait to find a family all my own who will be patient with me and offer me the stimulation I need to be my best self. If you are interested in meeting Missy, apply to adopt her at: www.causeforcanines.org. Adoption fee: $350 Must be an Ohio resident and 23 or older. Children must be 5 years old or older.  ##1913574##

Story
Korra is 7 years this May. I adopted her when she was 2 years. She is house trained and takes direction. Very quiet and relaxed. She will need two walks per day. I would say at least a quarter to a half mile each. She prefers to be outside than inside no matter the weather. She does well leashed outside. She doesn't prefer other dogs, but won't attack them. She can be skittish with loud sounds like a vacuum. She's great with kids. I have an 8th month old and I've never had to worry. She also does well with little kids. She is NOT current on any vaccines. I kept her up to date for 5 years. But she does not go to dog parks or kennels or groomers. So if you plan to take her to any of those then consult your vet. I will give you all the medical records I have. She had one major injury before I adopted her. It was to her back right leg. She can walk and canter just fine, but if she tries to sprint you will see her lift the leg. I have gotten the leg examined by a vet and there is no concern
