Pot Pie is a handsome as can be 2 year old Husky who is in search of an active and loving forever family! Pot Pie is a sweet boy who came to our shelter when his previous owner could no longer care for him. Poor Pot Pie has been bounced from home to home and shelter to shelter his whole life... We are ready to find this amazing pooch his forever home with a family that understands his needs and is ready to commit to taking care of an active and athletic dog. Pot Pie would be an amazing adventure buddy, someone to take hiking, camping, maybe even skiing with you! Pot Pie loves to run and play and has a blast playing with toys. Pot Pie has done well meeting new canine friends, but he does like to "ruffhouse" and would need another dog who can match his energy level and play-style (He may be a bit too much for certain dogs.) We are not sure how Pot Pie feels about cats just yet, but we will update you when we learn more. Pot Pie is a smart fella who is going to need mental enrichment as well as physical exercise to help keep his mind busy. We think working on training with this gorgeous boy would be a fantastic way for him and his new owner to form a strong bond. Pot Pie knows how to "sit" "lay down" and "shake" and is very eager to please. Pot Pie has so much love to give and we think in the right home environment, he is going to be a fantastic companion dog. Pot Pie is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccines. Kiara is a stunning and fun loving 8 month old Alaskan Malamute who is looking for a loving forever family to call her own! Kiara came to us when her previous owners said that she was too much for them to handle. Kiara is a big girl (and still has some growing left to do!) and Malamutes are high energy working dogs that are very intelligent and energetic. We think Kiara's ideal home is with an active family where she can get plenty of exercise, playtime, and socialization! We think Kiara would do best in a home with an owner who has large/working breed experience as she will need someone who can be sure to provide her with lots and lots of exercise, enrichment, and socialization. She is not going to be a good fit for someone in a smaller living space like an apartment or mobile home. This beautiful girl LOVES to run! Kiara can be a bit shy with strangers at first, but warms up very quickly once she knows you are a friend! Kiara does well with other friendly dogs after a proper slow introduction but we aren't sure how she feels about cats just yet. Kiara is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her vaccines. If you are looking for a silly, loving, and athletic companion pup, Kiara might be your girl! Come meet Kiara today!

Morel is a great big handsome Akita who is looking for a loving forever family to call his own! Morel was part of an "oops" litter who came to us with his brother at 11 months of age. We were told he is 50% Akita Inu (Japanese Akita) and 50% American Akita. We think he is 100% a good boy. Morel is a big goofball who loves to romp, run, and play! This handsome boy needs a bit of work on his manners as he was never properly trained or taught as a puppy. We think he would thrive in a home that can provide him with structure, gentle guidance, as well as plenty of exercise and enrichment. We think Morel would benefit greatly from a couple of lessons with a professional positive dog trainer to help him learn the basics and to form a strong bond with his new owner. Morel has done well around other friendly large dogs, but as he has shown some mild prey drive behaviors we do not think he would be a good fit for a home with small dogs or cats. Morel loves to run and play with his pals, but he does not appreciate rude or pushy dogs very much (who can blame him?)Morel has so much potential to be an amazing companion dog for the right person. He is happy-go-lucky, bouncy, and oh so silly! If you are looking for a friendly, outgoing, and fun-loving fluff ball, Morel might be your guy! Want to learn more about caring for an Akita?
