Story
Nyla is an energetic, playful, and beautiful dog. She will go on walks and runs, play as much as you want and she even knows tricks like sit, lay down, paw, other paw, and spin! She does loves pets and is a bit of a barker at first but once she’s used to you everything is fine. She does have her flaws just like everyone else, she can be very anxious and tends to feel a little put off if other animals enter her personal space of not trained to be used to one another. If you’re considering adopting Nyla and you have other pets I suggest using methods to allow them to get used to one another and work with them, it can be done you just have to be a bit patient.

Story
Miss Pris has 99 things to say, and she will make sure you hear all of it, be it with her inside voice or her facial expressions. Though she is very nonchalant about her day to day and quite quiet (as per husky standards). Miss Pris loves to sass her way in and out of anything she feels right. "Why are you home late?" Pris doesn't concern herself with trivial toys or the nuisance of retrieval - "I'm not going to get that." But she loves a good adventure and is a fantastic leash walker (don't let her near the cats). Miss Pris is unamused as to why her foster siblings like to wrestle, but she's happy to lay nearby and referee if things get too out of hand. An all around great girl with the biggest personality, Miss Pris would make a great addition to almost any home!

Story
Say hello to Cillian, the heart-stealer extraordinaire! This big boy is a charmer. You will usually find Cillian showering everyone he meets with smooches. Not only is he affectionate and well-mannered, but he`s one cool looking dog, too. Cillian lives with other foster dogs and is a friend to all, though he may need a slower introduction to smaller breeds. He’s pretty chill for a husky but you can occasionally catch him romping around the yard with the other pups or playing with his tiny Chihuahua-mix bestie. He is house and crate trained and knows some commands. He’s very food motivated and could easily learn more. Have you fallen head over heels for Cillian yet? Story
Lightning is an amazing dog! He does well in a crate, he eats his meals in a crate. To help keep his brain busy, we have been feeding him in his crate using an extra large Kong. We make sure he has dedicated chew time twice a day while he`s in the crate with a yak cheese or the wobbling Kong. He loves playing with other dogs and has never shown aggression. When we brought him into our home with our 2, he was quite submissive quickly and was ready to play. He knew immediately how to run in and out of our doggie door to go outside and he has never had an accident when that door is open. He loves to get vocal and talk when he`s playing, but that`s the only time we`ve heard him talk and it`s typically more before noon. He loves laying on our love seat and I think he believes it was put there for him. He just loves kids and would definitely be great in a home with children that will play and help burn energy with him. He gets excited when we grab his harness because he loves going for walks. Obviously a 6-ft fence is going to be a must for him, and I believe another dog his age would be a big help so he Burns energy every chance you can give him. I`d say he`s completely gotten the grasp of home life. He takes treats very gently, and he loves any typical high value treat. To meet Lightning, please submit your applications online at: https://oneloveanimalrescue.com/pre-adoption-application

Story
At 8 years young, Piper is a Husky mix with just the right amount of wisdom and zoomies! As the longest resident at the adoption center, she’s been patiently waiting for her retirement home—but don’t let the “R” word fool you! Age hasn’t slowed her down one bit. She’s still got plenty of adventure left in her paws!Piper is great with other dogs (playdates, anyone?) and loves kids, but she kindly requests a cat-free home—those sneaky felines are just too tempting! She’s leash-trained, potty-trained, spayed, and fully vaccinated, so she’s ready to move in and claim the best spot on your couch. If you’re looking for a best friend who’s equal parts fun and cuddles, Piper is your girl. Give this sweet senior the golden years she deserves!
