Story
Hi everyone! It is me Peanut! I have been kicking around here with the Moonsong crew for a few months now and just wanted to reintroduce myself! It is fall now after all, and I would love to find myself a dream family who is ready to share in all their adventures. As you can see, I am a very handsome male husky/malamute mix who is eager to please and just need someone to show me the ropes. I am only about three years old and am your typical bouncy boy who loves to play. I do know basic commands but could really use some consistent training efforts to help challenge my mental abilities and help me excel. I get along with most dogs who are similar in size but do need proper introductions and supervision with those who are little more dominant. Oh, and in case you were wondering, I would do best in a home with a secure yard, a family who is active and of course able to provide me with all the snuggles I deserve. If you are interested in fostering or even better, adopting me please fill out an application or contact my person for more information. I promise I will bring a world of happiness that is beyond your wildest expectation! And remember PEANUT ROCKS! Available to Adopters in Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, Utah & Northern Nevada.

Story
Hey there, my name is Seth! I am a 2-year-old husky that has not been able to connect with the right forever family. So….. I am now with Moonsong and I know they are going to do everything they can to change my star-crossed luck, to Lucky Stars! I would do best in a home as the only dog as I thrive with hoooman attention and don’t want to share my peeps. I can be dog selective as far as making new fur friends so slow and careful introductions to set me up for success. Cats, small animals and livestock are a no no for me as I have a bit of a prey drive. In a previous home I did well with respectful children, so perhaps age 8 and above would be perfect. I greet people with curious interest and then woohoo it’s time to get acquainted! I overheard someone say I’m a real gem when it comes to people. I’m told I have the most handsome and shiny coat ever seen and I hardly shed and look like I got bathed every day. I’m a really healthy and very fit fellow. If you tell me “car rides” I’ll be your best pal. I’m so well behaved going for rides. I love to walk and hike and watch me take a big snooze when we get back home. I know how to open latches and will try to dig under a fence if bored so I will need a husky secure fence and area so I don’t go on a ‘naughty boy’ walkabout. I’m highly intelligent and would love to learn tricks and new things. I would really love to finally find the perfect home, where I know I will be loved for the rest of my life. Are you the one? Let’s work out the details!! Available for Adoption in Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Idaho & northern Nevada.

Story
Life is good! Spike here chatting with you from wonderful Wyoming! I was living an ok life with a nice family but my wanderlust tempted me too often and I was loose in a flash visiting all my girlfriends in the neighborhood. I loved my excursions so much that I would play games with my family when they tried to take me back home. So I ended up in a shelter just about ready to take the long walk when Moonsong stepped in and whisked me away just in the nick of time. The ride to Wyoming was quite an adventure with a carload of other pups to keep me company. All four of us pretty much slept the entire trip. I know…bor-ring! Since I have been in Wyoming, I have met a few new ladies that I like a lot. I seem to like the girls more than the boys but there have been a couple of guy pups that weren’t so bad. If they are bigger than me and have a ‘big boy voice’, they tend to scare me a bit. After all, I am a little guy. I do love the human girls too…a little more than the human guys. I am a little more cautious around them at first but warm up pretty fast. Where I am staying, there is the nicest girl who walks me and feeds me and pets me and let me hang out with her in her house. She says I am super house trained, know several commands, really smart and just a love bug to be around. I am not really treat motivated unless you have the right kind of treats. Believe it or not but I turned my nose up at duck jerky! Really…go figure! I’ve never really played with toys so they are really new to me but one thing I do like is my personal wading pool. I bet I would be a Huski-dile if given the chance. Spike is a handsome young male Husky that is super sweet and very calm for his age and breed. He does well around kids and especially female dogs. He definitely is a Northern Breed dog who loves to play hard. He is quite curious about the farm animals he is around now but hasn’t shown a real strong prey drive towards them so far. In fact, the resident pig scares him to death! His prey drive towards smaller dogs is starting to kick in so a home without smaller pets would be best. Because of his past ‘prison breaks’, he will need a secure fenced yard. He could also benefit from some obedience training to hone his leash skills. Spike will be neutered (don’t tell him that though) and have all of his vetting done soon. If you are looking for a young Husky to add to your family, don’t overlook this young man. He has everything going for him! I'm located in Casper, Wyoming. Available to Adopters in Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, Utah & Northern Nevada.

Story
Anyone out there looking for a strikingly handsome young Husky mix? I just might fill the bill for that! They tell me I’m 65 pounds, but I don’t really seem to be aware of that because I adore being a lap dog. I’m super sweet, snuggly, and I love to give out kisses. I am more than happy to relax on the couch with you or sleep at your feet at night. Here are just a few of my favorite things to do – go on walks, car rides and meet new people. And of course, I enjoy playing in snow and the sprinklers too! I know all the commands, like, come, wait, sit, lay down, off and up. I even take treats gently. All easy peezy stuff for me! I grew up around other dogs and cats. When around other new pups though, it’s best to feed me by myself. It’s possible that I could coexist with the felines – once I get familiar with them. I am good with kids if they know how to treat me respectfully. So, older kids with good manners are more my style. For the most part, I’m a pretty laid back doggo. Although, I do woowoo like any husky would do. In short, I’m just a sweet, happy, easy-to-please kind of guy to love. I'm located in Clinton, Utah. Available to Adopters in Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, Utah & Northern Nevada.

Story
Howdy folks! My name is Sky. I am a stunning young female Mal mix. Let me tell you a little bit of my story. I was a lonely homeless girl wandering around a small western Idaho town when the doggie police finally found me. Fortunately that all changed when Moonsong got word of me and sprung me out into a wonderful foster home. You can only imagine how happy that made me! I literally gave my foster Dad kisses the whole way home. First thing they found out about me is my lovable and cheerful personality. When I’m not playing, I fancy being snuggled up near my people where I feel safe and loved. When I first meet other dogs, I’m a little cautious. It only takes a few sniffs and then I’m all in. In fact I adore playing with other dogs and It would be best if I had a furry sibling to romp around with. Me and my furry foster brother play almost non stop. Sometimes my nose leads me to yummy things left on the counter. That’s a nice way of saying that I have been known to counter surf. Therefore, you can imagine being the kitchen supervisor is pretty high on my preferred list. But, I’m happy to report that I learned quickly to stay in my spot during meal prep. When it comes to feeding me, I will sit nicely for my dinner and wait until you set it before me. How’s that for manners! I’d say that’s pretty doggone good for a youngster like me. I’m a sweet fun loving gal who would love to be a part of your adventures. In my doggie dreams, I think about having a happy home where I am cherished and well taken care of. If woo can give me that kind of loving place to land, rest assured I will give that love back to you in spades! I'm located in Nampa, Idaho. I'm available to Adopters in Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, Utah & Northern Nevada.

Story
Ember is a very sweet petite Siberian husky. She will be 6 years old this November and is about 40 lbs. She is great with kids and people but has a very strong prey drive and should not be homed with cats or other small animals. True to the husky nature she is very vocal when she wants to be and is known for getting into trouble. The decision to re-home her has not been made lightly but we feel as though we are just not the right home for her. She has a long history of some destructive behaviors (chewing furniture, getting into trash ect.) we have tried our best to manage her quirks and behaviors and have reached the end of our rope. Ember has also been diagnosed with Discoid Lupus within the past year and does require medications (this has nothing to do with her rehoming). The condition has no affect on her lifespan and she is currently well managed. I am more that happy to go into further details regarding her health and temperament. I want her to have a successful rehoming.
