Kyle is our longest term canine resident, but luckily he lives in a foster home and thrives on his routine there. Though he doesn't know his star sign, Kyle thinks he is probably a Virgo; he likes order and predictability! He knows just when it is time to go to his crate or outside for his walk, and he'd probably send you a calendar invite for those events if he could. Kyle is incredibly affectionate with his people, wanting to give kisses and sit in their laps. He makes some very funny noises, often sounding like the grouchy old man he is on the inside. He is quite smart and quick to offer a paw in exchange for a treat. Except...it better be the kind he likes, or he'll spit it out. Kyle lives with a male dog and two cats in his foster home. His foster reports that he mostly co-exists and doesn't care much to play with his dog sibling. We'd be willing to bet you've never seen a dog like Zeus! He is quite the combination of husky and...something! Imagine waking up to this derpy goof every day; you'd be sure to wake up with a smile! Zeus absolutely loves to lounge, and his preferred lounge spots in backwards order are: 3) his bed in the secluded corner, 2) his bed in the other corner, and 1) his people's lap! He is 95lb of lap dog! Zeus was actually adopted from us as a puppy and returned recently, so you can see his puppy picture and him all grown up. Zeus would really like to find a home with a corner and a lap to call his own!

Charles Barkley is your classic husky! This fun boy would love to go on walks and hikes and has been a popular choice to go on Borrow a Dog outings with volunteers. He is an excellent explorer! He is usually pretty calm in his kennel, but as soon as he sees the leash he's got the zooms! His previous owner reported he did well with a similar sized dog in the home. He has met several kids at the shelter and has done well! Word has it, this guy is just a very amazing and cool dude!

Online Adoption Application › Bolt is a handsome, energetic, and super sweet boy! DEFINITELY one of the cleanest dogs you will ever meet! Bolt loves everyone he meets and he loves attention. He does well with more submissive dogs. Proper introductuons are a MUST! Sadly cats are no friend of his. He will require a cat free home. He really wants to be their friend, but doesn't understand he can't play rough like with another dog. Bolt knows basic commands such as ‘sit’ and ‘crate/room’. He is eager to learn and treat motivated. He is super sweet and super smart. He is crate/house trained (currently he has his own bedroom at his foster home and has been a true gentleman). Bolt is a full grown guy and is the SMALLEST husky we have ever seen. He is agile and does the cutest twirl/dance when he is happy and wants attention. He walks well on leash and harness. He will require at least a 5 foot fence b/c he can jump and does have a bit of prey drive (squirrels, etc. drive him nuts). Canis and his brother Hydra are 9 months now (DOB 9/17) and still in search of their forever families. Canis' mom was a medium sized Husky and his father is a complete mystery, though we do suspect he was possibly a pit/ lab mix. They are expected to be medium sized fully grown. Canis has finished all round of his puppy vaccines. He is microchipped, neutered, and current on preventatives. Canis is working on crate and potty training he is a sweet and happy boy who can't wait to make your family complete. Canis would do best in a home with female dogs or no dogs (no male dogs).
