Introducing Anya, a beautiful female Husky mix. Anya has tested negative for heartworm and is currently working on getting her weight up. She is friendly and energetic, but she is a little shy at first. She needs someone who is willing to keep up with her needs and help her regain perfect health. Anya does well with small children but will need time to decompress. This black and tan beauty currently weighs 37.5 pounds & has been spayed.

Story

Meet Hoss! He is 2 years old and about 55#. Hoss is a Husky - Shepherd mix. Hoss came to us after he could no longer be cared for where he was living, as an outside dog. Although he loves to be outside, he will likely adjust to being an indoor/outdoor dog. Hoss can be a bit shy with new people and things, but he is overall friendly. He is a funny guy and loves to play! Hoss knows sit and shake. He will go after a ball and bring it partially back to you, so is halfway there on the fetch part! Hoss will need to be kept on a schedule for getting into a regular potty routine. He does fine when let out here through the day every few hours. He is friendly when meeting other dogs through kennel doors. However, Hoss wasn't properly socialized with other dogs as he grew up and is scared of them it seems. He will most likely be fine with another low energy dog, that doesn't get in his face or jump on him when not expecting it. It will take him time, understanding and patience to adjust to a new home. Hoss is overly interested in cats and it is best there aren't any in his new home, He should be fine with kids. Hoss is neutered, Heartworm and Lyme negative, current on vaccines and monthly prevention. ~ $0 ADOPTION FEE THRU 8/31/24!!
