I'm a quick learner and love showing off my new tricks and commands - anything to make you smile! I'm dreaming of a home where I can run and play, use my clever mind, and get all the love I can handle. If you're looking for an adventurous and loyal friend, I'm your girl!All dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and heartworm tested prior to adoption. We can not guarantee that a dog will be good with children, dogs, or cats. If you currently have a dog a meet & greet will be required. To do this safely and effectively your dog will need to be spayed/neutered and up to date on vaccinations prior to approval of a dog adoption through Boone Area Humane Society.***Adoptions are by appointment only, please fill out an application and someone will be in contact with you***All dogs are heart-worm tested, spayed/neutered, microchipped and have age appropriate vaccinations.**All animals have been spayed/neutered, have been tested for heartworm/feline leukemia, have had age appropriate vaccinations, been dewormed, is on flea and parasite prevention and has been microchipped.

To schedule a time to meet this dog, please email apurvis@arl-iowa.org.---- Can be uncomfortable with new people, new things, loud noises and fast movements, but he has made good progress in our care and recovers much more quickly now; looking for patient people who will treat him with understanding and help him continue to gain confidence - Once he feels comfortable he'll give you lots of big tail wags, bounce over to you for pets, put his front legs flat on the ground asking you to play, and even get the zoomies! - Loves treats, especially peanut butter, and that will be a great way to build trust and form a bond with him - Can be busy at times, but once you're his friend he loves to just hang out with you - Still a little unsure of having a leash put on, but once it is he walks well - Looking for a teens-and-up home right now to set him up for success - Can be shy and unsure of other dogs (dog intro required) - Will be a great friend for someone who can give him extra time to settle in and help him build up his confidence so he can enjoy all the good things in life!
