A23954 Glacier is a white and black colored, approximately 1-year-old, 37-pound, neutered male, Husky. He entered the shelter as a stray on 11-27-2024 and was altered by our medical staff. He came in with another Husky, Frosty and would do best adopted together but not required. Glacier is a friendly, timid and shy boy here at the shelter. He is doing much better now that he kenneled with Frosty. They were left tied to a tree in front of the shelter, but Frosty escaped and was caught a few days later. Our staff says he is a friendly boy trying to figure out this shelter environment. He has had some training and will “sit” “down” and “stay” upon command. He was easy to leash and walks well on a leash. He is nervous here and will freeze when scared. He is getting better each day, since Frosty was brought in. As soon as he recognized Frosty, he started calling out for him and we put them together. He has no interest in other dogs here at the shelter. Glacier will be a loving family member in his new forever home.

He came in with another Husky, Glacier and would do best adopted together but not required. Frosty is a friendly, eager, and excited boy here at the shelter. He is a typical energetic, full of personality Husky. Our staff says he is a friendly boy who loves affection and is eager to see you, waiting at the kennel door when you approach. He has had some training and will “sit” upon command. He was easy to leash but is definitely a puller and ready to be out exploring. He has a friendly interest in other dogs here at the shelter. Frosty will be a fun-loving family member in his new forever home.

A24623 Nala is a brown and white colored, approximately 10-month-old, 58-pound, spayed female, Pitbull / Husky mix. She entered the shelter an owner surrender on 12-30-2024 due to the fact their home and yard was just too small for a puppy this size, that needed to run and play. Nala is a friendly, calm, easy to handle girl here in the shelter. Our staff describes her as a happy, sweet girl. She loves people, affection and going for walks. She is still a little hesitant here in this loud shelter environment and may need a little time to adjust to a new home. We have had her up in the front office area and she is very friendly and curious about what is going on. She was easy to leash because she was so excited to go for a walk and pulled a little in that excitement. She wants to smell everything. She has had some training and will “sit” upon command. She is only 10 months and will need additional leash and command training to be her best family member. The previous owner says she is house broken and has lived with other dogs, cats and children at their home. Nala will be a fun-loving companion in her new forever home.

Dinah first joined us at only 1 day old after her mom died giving birth. She was bottle fed in one of our foster homes and found a loving family. Unfortunately, Dinah has become too rough for the small dog in her family so they made the difficult decision to return her to us so she could find a new home. Dinah loves to swim, play fetch and go for walks. She is perfect for someone looking for a dog who likes to go on adventures! Dinah does fine with bigger dogs, she likes to play but respects when they are not interested in her; she prefers to be the queen of the casa so dominant dogs are not a good match. Dinah is kennel trained, house trained and will be the perfect addition to a lucky home! She is 2 1/2 years old and weighs 55 lbs. We have adoption appointments throughout the week!
